Who's holding the upper hand in this biz? Agencies and providers say they need screening to protect from the law and rapist and murderers. Yet so many abuse it to run bait an switch, underdeliver and just to fuck with you or NCNS. When session had negatives, how do you write a fare review when you give out all the reference and personal info? How do you walk off from bait and switch when you know they got you by the balls. Too many vindictive cats in it, never know who's gonna out you.

I don't even know if it's screening or some other factors in play. But I'll say this for sure: PROVIDERS/AGENCIES SET ALL THE RULES. It's like a union or something. I taveled abroad and difference in quality is amazing. Things states-side aren't gonna improve till gents take back the control of the game though. What is it gonna take?

Probably just a vote to legalize, though in RI it was always shitty even when legal, but I'd say it's cause RI was just shit. I think if DC or NY or Boston made it legal, we'd see lots of good times.

Isn't that the point to going to establish providers? If you see she's been around a while, she's never outed anyone, and the info on the net available is positive, there's little risk. If we want to stay in the business we can't afford to terrorize men - that'd kill any possibility of meeting new gents. Even other women will cut off a fellow companion the second they hear she's crossed the line and actually tried to damage a man's personal life.  

Generally anyone guilty of bait and switch, or bad behaviour, would already have info out there on them wouldn't they?  Unless of course she's brand spanking new, then you have to navigate the risk factor.  So you can choose to wait, and see what happens.

Generally if you have two really good references, from established respected women, I know of cases where nothing else was asked for. Especially if it's a woman in my personal network - if she gives the okay, that's all I really need to know.

There's also the Gent only rooms. Back channel talk will do more damage then public information, it spreads like wild fire when there's a real risk involved in seeing a woman.

Frankly, it's too dangerous for women to get involved without screening in the USA.  Screening in Canada isn't a standard - we won't ask for real names, but we will demand references.  In the USA I won't dare to see someone without it because LE in your country hunts us down.

So the good women with their own lives to protect won't get involved if they can't screen.  And the ones that have no honour will be the only one's left.

It's all about balancing the risk and reward factor, and I don't see experienced hobbyists having a hard time with it.  You've just got to be picky. There are men who have hobbyed for 15+ years and never ran into a head case.

Legalization.  Until there's no fear of your life ruined through arrest screening will be necessary. Futhermore, if she can't report an act of violence because *she* will get arrested, screening becomes even more important.

I think to believe either party should have "control" is abusive.  Neither should have control. There needs to be a balance, and that exists, if you're more interested in meeting good people, then meeting as many people as you can.

& quit projecting your lousy experiences with hobbying stateside, to make it look like it's the norm here. Problem with you, bud, is that you don't check out provider ads & reviews carefully enough. Also, it sounds like you need a course in "Screening 101"

For guys that are in-to older girls and can plan in advance, and hobby enough that they have referals its not too bad.

I do look for younger girls like 20 or something around that, and I know a lot of guys do, so this girls are mostly through some shady agencies or with some male "friend" around. So the whole time I feel like skating on thin ice.

You have one review and it's a rip off review. What happened to any of the other ladies you have seen? Have all your meetings been less than what you expected ? Something tells me you need to go back to the newbie board for some belated lessons.

You yourself can take screening into your hands but you won't get to see the ladies that are listed with good reviews on here, you might get ripped off again and might take a visit to jail.

If your planning to get the most from TER it's time to learn how and not try to make it work your way.

If you think that either side has the "upper hand", you might want to take a closer look at where you're doing your shopping. I've found that the middle of the road is a nice place to meet, and most of the ladies that I've met seem to be of the same opinion.

And never forget the power of "no."

Ultimately, no woman holds power over you, provider or civie, unless you ALLOW it and only to the extent that you allow it.

There are plenty of early 20 something independents - 18/19 would be a hard find.  If you know an agency has a great reputation, you can still count on a good experience.   Shady places  aren't the only ones with the young women.

It can truly be hard to get last minute meetings put together with an independent.

You should consider asking the ladies you like, who they recommend. If you meet a great 20 year old SP, she's likely to know some other awesome women too.

Legalization does seem to take the paranoia out of the equation. Having visited a number of the legal brothels in Nevada in the early 90's, the atmosphere was much more relaxed. We all knew why we were there, the women were generally open and more relaxed, knowing that they were in a generally safe environment. I was more relaxed, knowing that LE wasn't an issue and that I wasn't going to be hounded with thoughts of extortion and blackmail.

Were all my experiences there stellar? No, it's like any other service and sales operation, some folks do a better job of it than others, and some providers are into what they do, while others "just lay there." The beauty of the legal house is that you always have recourse with management, and if they are smart, they will try to make it right. If not, the worst that happened was that I had a mediocre experience instead of a great experience and I learned to make better choices.

Until legalization is a reality, the best you can do is to make good use of the resources at your disposal here -- the reviews, your  fellow hobbyists and the lovely ladies who give us their perspectives.

Not all young providers are questionable. Sure, many don't have the best business practices, but we're out there! I'm 22 and run things pretty much like providers that are twice my age.

The problem with a lot of young girls is the get into this just for the money and then run once they've paid for whatever they needed it for. You just need to find a young woman who fits your physical description but who is mature for her age and has a good head on her shoulders.

But like I said, we're out there, I promise!

Canada is such an awesome place for hobby, I wish I lived there Met a lot of college age girls while on trips to Montreal, all through agencies, very satisfying, trust me I would not complain if my experiences in the states been as good. I had one bad experience in Canada, wrote a review to warn others and forgot about it. In U.S., it's like it does not matter how much I research, chances are I'm gonna run in to a bush pig. I'm not saying every girl is bad, but gents will not mention it in reviews, cause oh they are soo nice.

when you've not hooked up with a well reviewed lady. However, screening is not a control issue regarding the ladies or the agencies. It's more about cost/benefit analysis, and analyzing the odds of pay-off vs. losses and penalties. Impulsive behavior within a risky endeavor can lead to undesired consequences.

I still think Montreal is a hobbyists heaven. Even I go to Montreal to book ladies.

Well the shot answer is I have to travel for my day job anyway.  Also, cities like Washington, New York and New Orleans are places I want to be. So even if I don't get a single booking during my tour, I don't care. I have friends to hang out with, and places I love to go.

Toronto is highly populated with ladies, and it's very much a taste tester's crowd. That's not really my style. I have local friends, but they aren't big travelers, and travel is the best part of being an international companion.

Generally people in the US are paid better, and the population of the states is higher. So the chances of meeting the kind of men I'm interested in is higher.

It's the business travelers.  USA business men do a lot of traveling all over the world. I find people who live out of airports have a greater appreciation for a regular lady, and will spice things up with threesomes (I love girls).

I like memorable one night stands, but the LTA cast a spell that's hard to break. You're with a friend, and have developed comfort with each others quarks. It makes it easy to love the business and not feel emotionally or physically warn out.  I'm in it for life, so I want to pace myself to prevent burn out.

even if and thats a fantasy..if it were legalized in the states (don't hold your breath) I personally would still want need and request refs and would request your name. Its about safety. I have 5 pages of reviews and any one can see I am legit safe and not a nut job. I want the same level of security that you have b4 meeting me.
many adies are independants we work on our own and quite often no one knows where we are and who we are meeting. we take risks, even those aside from being arrested.
this system does work and it works for many many Gentlemen every day several times a day.
yes there are a few who get burned, even though they did research, but compared to the reviews that get posted on a daily basis as well as the encounters that go well and are not reviewed, its few and far between.
Its not about control its all about safety.

If you don't care about the ladies safety, get a street walker for crying out loud......there is only "balance" when there is a modicum of respect and concern between both parties of the transaction.  Grow up!  Be real men for a change will you!?  Geesh....

Why does it matter? You are paying for a service.  This site gives you the ability to choose wisely with a little effort and research.  YOU have to power to decide who you want to see but ultimately the lady screens for her own safety and will see who she wants to see.  That will never change.
