Never been married so I can't relate, but I had a good friend that married the only girl that ever slept with him.  And she is one loony bitch.  I don't usually use the word bitch, but this girl is so nuts that if he is online trying to chat to a friend, she will make him get up and get on the computer and make you talk through her to him.  She tried to do that on the phone once and I had to make her get off the phone.  I lost contact with him soon after that.  

We took each other's virginity from each other.

Her because she wanted to find the right guy, and I was him.  

Me because nobody would have sex with me before I met her...

In fact the funny thing is that except for escorts and other paid encounters, I have been "faithful" to my wife.   It all depends on how you look at it...

Personally, I don't view the act of sex as cheating on a significant other.  It is when someone develops a emotional attachment or give another person a meaningful part of themselves that they don't give their significant other that constitutes the cheating.

I know one guy whose wife is not longer capable of having sex and they are a somewhat young couple.  He loves her deeply and was going to abstain from sex.  She felt guilty about this and actually eventually started paying for him to go to a brothel once a week.  He doesn't actually go every week but he does once in a while. He goes and takes care of his physical needs for an hour or two and goes back home to his wife.
