I received this today which I don't know why considering I am an Indy and not an AMP type of lady. Just wondering how many others may have got this message as well.

saying I had mail. So I was going to type no. And then I thought I would check my mail, and there it was. So whoever is doing this has been able to get into the system...????
All one has to have is your IP address. Spam is an easy way of getting it because IP is included in your reply.
It may appear to be complex for casual users (most people are) but not that hard for those who are computer savvy. One reason I do not belong to any Social Networking sites.
By the way, those who collect your email, sell it. Why do you think free email exist, they make money by selling your email, and advertising.
Set up a free email account and use it, if you must when an email is needed for any web registration. Would be hard to do if you are addicted to Social Networking.
I have an account I use for web registration to get access to not so reputed sites.
You do realize that you just got them MORE business by making it public LOL. That's why TER is my main board! Never in my life got a spam mail asking me to join. Guess that means because they ALREADY have the business!
