1) Some ladies don't like salacious reviews. Now I'm not saying anything is wrong with TER. I like the site, but for some ladies who can't have public reviews saying "she sucked my dick so good and then licked my balls before letting me nut all over her face and almost in her eye...", they might opt for a site that let's a guy simply vouch that the lady is legit. There is one reputable site that I think of where a guy can say “I spent a lovely evening with ___. She arrived to my hotel in a sexy black dress and was gorgeous. She was easy going and treated me well. Let’s just say she knows how to treat a man right. Well worth the money.” You see, some ladies have real privacy concerns when it comes to the details of what's in a review. And since salacious details are mandated on TER, while it is a good site, it's not for everyone.

2) Some ladies get sick of the locker room talk. Frankly, after months or years of reading the boys discuss, "who has the tightest pussy?" or "who gives the best bbbj in town?", some ladies just stray away. And it has nothing to do with being able to hang with the boys or being able to handle MP67 (someone of us stop opening his posts a loooooooong time ago). Some ladies just get tired of reading the same old shit. As far as discussion on the regional boards, TER is good for ads. It's great exposure, but the discussion isn't for the ladies…except for the ones who chime in with the obvious extra ad.

3) Back to discussion. Aside from the same "who gives the best head?" questions, you get ones where the guys so called want real answers. Then you get the bold girl (under an alias or not) willing to answer the question. After being honest for what 99.99% of the escort think, she's told she's fat or old and needs to get into a different business because she doesn't like her clientele. Such silliness. Why ask in the first place? So what’s the point in any discussion?

4) Then you have the ladies who want to appeal to men with more money. But if you peruse the regional boards, all you see are most guys talking about BP ladies at $200. After awhile, a lady who is seeking men who can afford more learns there’s no point in mingling with the men who can’t. So they go to a different message board or no message boards at all.

5) Lastly, you say "The search feature and review feature is far better than any of the boards I've visited.  TER is the bomb from the hobbyist perspective."...Whether or not the search feature is superior, some ladies have no interest in hanging out with "hobbyists". They want to meet men who see P4P as a way for hookers and johns to come together, not a place for johns to treat it like a coin collection hobby (if you can’t see the difference, don’t bother trying, because you’ll never get it).

Of course all the above are false. I have no firsthand knowledge of this information and yes, TER is the best.

I've seen a few providers recently that I found through another board.  Like many providers, they don't have dedicated websites-- only posts with pics and menus.  They aren't reviewed here and can't be reviewed here because the other board is blacklisted here.  I've also noticed that my local list of providers on TER is really short, yet there are TONS of providers on other boards.

First, yes, TER is a premier site. But not the ONLY site, that makes providers accountable for their practice.

Some of the other sites let the ladies review the gents as well. I've been told I did quite well...

Lately, from what I've seen it's more of a 'boy's locker room'. Granted, the site was initially dedicated to making providers accountable for their practices, I feel a lot of ladies have strayed because of 'gents' such as myself, and for that I'm truly sorry.

In order to have a profile you must get a review first and not every one reviews or knows of TER. The lady does not control her profile it is written by the first gentleman to review her. Also the must have a ad on the internet and not on anther review site. Some ladies choose to have their profile pulled for a variety of reasons as well. It does not cost to advertise weekly of the local boards here or to have a profile so price is not the issue but it can be difficult to get that first review. After that first review they even get limited VIP.

I was escorting 7months before anyone turned me on to ter.com. I mean you can't google search "escort sites" and get anything... ter.com(along with a lot of other boards) are known about only if you know someone....

Also I'm apart of many local boards for my area.Many guys like these better because it's easier to find girls that are right here in your zip code(not to mention a lot of these boards are free) Different regions have different preferences. I notice I don't get a lot of hits from clients off here, but the local boards light me up!

I know a couple other good sites that I would recommend along with ter.com. I mean ter.com isn't the know-all :P

And to be fair ter.com is mildly difficult to navigate through. Took me at least 2 weeks to get to everything I wanted smoothly.

There are a number of regions I can think of (Pacific Northwest, Texas, Midwest, Canada, and so on) where other boards have better information (or FREE reviews) and thus more guys and ladies.

Some good reasons have been noted -- I don't much like to write the "salacious reviews" that TER requires, so I can understand why some providers would not care to be thus written about.  But I think it's mainly the network effect: if many or most of the above-the-BP-level providers in an area are on TER, there's a strong incentive for others to join, and for clients to spring for VIP.  If -- as is alas the case in mid-Indiana where I am located -- TER has minimal coverage and another site has much more, then both providers and clients will tend to use the other site.  I am even of the opinion that at least in these areas TER could considerably expand its membership by allowing reviews of escorts who post only on another site.

I'm notoriously cost-effective. Whether or not i could afford the time involved in the very type of date you refer to, i just can't see my spending money on a situation that i could come by naturally. I have had many civy dating experiences which went almost exactly as you've described. Why would i compensate for such?

I am not here very much for two reasons, the first one being that my area falls under "other cities" - I meet more men from another site and have several reviews there, but I have yet to meet anyone from TER or be reviewed on here.

The second reason I am not very active on this site since it changed format - I do not like the new format.  Its not very user friendly for me.

I would like to add that new ladies feel not to associate because the "old" ladies make sure to control the regional boards..a clear example is Vegas where 3-5 ladies "control" the board commenting on each other posts making sure to suggest one another to whoever ask referrals and 4-5 guys always go along...I think that new ladies decide not to participate because when they do such hobbysts either attack or criticize them in favor of the other providers..It's a shame!!
