Do you work for the IRS? ;-)

What difference does it make?  Why do you want to know?  Is it going to affect whether or not you see a certain provider?

In short, it's none of your business anyway, and I doubt if you will get many providers to replay anyway.

The ladies can  answer if they want, or ignore the question, or lie. How is his question any different than London's below? Nobody is telling her, "none of your fucking business!"

To answer your question OP, it's really not that hard to tell. Just look at the volume. If I were fking 10 guys a week, I would not have time to work another job or post on TER 24/7. Just saying. Most of the women I have met personally, have a full time job, or work part time in sales or from home. I know MANY who do the Medical Billing and Coding from home, whilst providing, and their children don't grow up in daycare. I also know a ton of providers who are full time students...that seems to be the most common. Even being in school full time, garners you an extra income though. When I was in undergrad I got checks every 2 or 3 months if I recall, and grad school was a lot less, but still a substantial amount.

80% have other jobs or are students. I've met a few that this is more of a hobby. They have very high sex drives. Certainly could get men on their own at bars but this is a little bit more edgy and profitable. They actually seem the most fun.

I don't think it's that horrible of a question to ask. Many ladies have expressed this in past posts that this was either their only means of support or they did this on the side. It wasn't like he was asking anyone what they claimed for tax purposes to the IRS.

nasty quality in some men. If they know this is a girl's sole income & she completely relies on them they can play power games & try to dictate her rate by boycotting her as a group til she lowers them. It's best for a girl to have a side gig (or pretend she does) that says "I can take or leave a guy's money & be A-ok" so pay my regular rate or find someone else.

It's highly unlikely that one lady can bring in over $400k in any market from just providing.

You said providers with an s, indicating you know more than one.
I seriously doubt one provider can pull $400k, let alone $400k "plus".

clients so it's possible for a girl to bring in $7700 in seven days, but really not likely that's happening every week, I agree.

Maybe they're some really special ladies.

My friends, most of the ladies earning 10k or more a night won't be found on TER or any other board.  It's all about perceived value and the ability to pay.  And your thinking you know because you pay hourly rates, really?

WondersOfTheWrld 213 reads

Not high dollar ones.

Of course if they're paid 10k/night, it's feasible to make that much in a year. No one is disputing that, if we're not talking about average escorts. But the OP is asking a crowd of AVERAGE escorts, and like you said the 10k/night ladies aren't here, so they're really irrelevant to the conversation.

True, and like with any other business where one wants to sound good, they always tell you the MOST they have ever made. Strippers who say, "I make 3k a night," made that shit one night in five years, and it is the same with escorts. Bottom line...women charging the most, do not work that much. That's the point. I also agree, that the highest paid escorts are actually not escorts found on TER...they are usually UTR mistresses and sugar babies who don't have to advertise. I make shit as London Rayne, but I do clean up with my agency and a SD lol. Just saying.

Which wasn't even the OP question, but something Jessika brought up. But I wouldn't honestly tell someone if I TRUTHFULLY made 4k or 400k the year. People in the real world don't go around saying their salary either. It's just in bad taste.

WOW's comment below.  My first thought was that it would not be in bad taste if done anonymously.  And this board, while not a blind survey, is pretty anonymous.  Also, it's more socially acceptable if one is asking or talking about a range of income for a group of which the speaker is just one member.

But then I thought about it.  WOW Is absolutely right.  Because how one would acquire that information if no one is truthfully saying "I make $ per year". ?  People lie to everyone, including themselves, about that number, in both directions and for all sorts of reasons.  Why would they tell you?  And if you were a relative stranger, I would politely decline to answer.

As to the OP's question, my limited experience is that most providers are either doing something else (which may be school) or are preparing themselves/ thinking about what to do at the next stage of their lives (which might include marriage or a "straight" job) or both. The ones that aren't are likely to be either in deep trouble in a few years or are making so much money right now that I can't even think about calling them.  As others have claimed, the may be UTR.

I think the  range is all over the place, but my gut feeling is that the 80/20 ratio cited by a previous poster sounds about right.

This only makes sense.  I would think that relying on providing as one's sole financial support in the long run is not smart.  And good providers who can stay profitable for more than a few years are definitely not supid, at least as a rule? It seems that providing has a limited shelf life as a profitable profession.   Age 30 may be close to peak earning years.  Still a PYT, but probably better as a sexual technician, a coutesan and a businesswoman than any 24 year old.  I suspect a good number of 40 year old ladies do quite well, but far, far fewer fifty year olds.  And that (unlike pro athletes or actesseses or singers) very few build up enough of a nest egg to retire comfortably at 45.

Yes it is bad taste... and to disclose would only get said person in trouble one way or another (IRS or Hobbyists).  Let's just say us women make more than ZERO and less than a few million, and call it a wrap!!! Yes there are providers who make 400K (not of which am I because I am lazy :D) ... Kind of like us ladies asking how much you spend a year on us, you wouldn't like to disclose that, now would you? Everyone is different and motivated differently. Some do all they can for the maximum $, others do what is comfortable. At least LR was asking for needs in each city, not asking for personal stuff. What I said in that post has nothing to do with what I make or want to make or what I do in fact make, but minimum needed to be comfortable in my area (in general). That's why no one said mind your own business to her. (Just to clarify) It is all about how you ask and what you ask.
