This was an emotional day for many, if not most of us.  The numerous & varied opinions on the several threads that were posted were IMO, only a confirmation of that.

So to everyone who have taken the time on this day to share their feelings, I would like to offer my thanks.  Whether you are in agreement, or opposition, or simply ambivlilent about anything I have posted today, or that posted by others, is not germane to the way these expressions of emotions have caused me to feel.  It is completly unimportant in the larger picture if I agree with you, or if you agree with me.  Life has never been, or will ever be, about universal agreement.  

Speaking only for myself, which is all any of us can do, it has in an odd way helped to erase certain feelings of doubt.  My basic nature is to not be cynical, while at the same time not being either foolish or naive.  But cynism had began creeping recently into my mind-set of late.

So the expressions of emotions being felt on this day does a great deal to restore what I've always wanted to believe...the fact that we're all people, complete with our faults & certaininly our feelings!!

Again, my thanks to all of you who have voiced your feelings...& as well to those who may have simply not expressed themselves for whatever reasons, but to nonetheless felt that this was something other than simply another day.

Again, as always, I appreciate the depth of your thinking & the way that you express those thoughts...real, always with respect to those who feel differently, without flames, without backing off from what you believe, & for being more concerned with telling us what you feel than concern for being politically correct.

While I don't usually chime in on your posts, it's only because the echo of support would probably be redundant & become boring to most.  

Keep it up, lady...people like yourself (along with too many others to mention) are what makes this a true community where we can all reach out in so many ways!
