Should providers consciously avoid seeing TER users who play with TSs too?

No offense intended towards TS providers, I'm simply interested in heterosexual TER user population thoughts.

It's my choice not to see gentlemen that have seen TS providers, actually it's a Providers choice who they want to see or don't want to see.
But i DON'T see men that have seen TS's

I am not aware of any data about the incidence of STDs among high class TS providers, or even among the kind of high class ladies who are generally reviewed on TER.  We all obviously have respect for the providers we see and faith that they are educated and careful. (I have never,for example, had an STD in many many years of hobbying and I get monitored very regularly-- though there are some questions about very late effects of subclinical viral infections in those who love DATY, so no one can guarantee.) I don't know how TS providers in general behave.  I did know one as a patient who came to me for the very purpose of getting monitored.  She was very very careful and remained negative during the four or five years I followed her.

I don't think that a lot of ladies can distinguish that to be honest with you. A gentleman's TER handle is not something I use to screen and I generally will only look at his reviews if he provides it for me or is white listed.

A lot of ladies can't "screen out" gentlemen who have seen TS's because honestly 80% of my clients do not review me, are not members of a review board and do not leave a "paper" trail like that.

So your question, while valid to some extend, is not a fail safe when screening out potential dates via their review history.

A smart client who has seen a TS would simply not review a TS he has seen. I suspect this is the case most of the time.

In a way it really is not in anyone's control provider or client.

Most guys I know feel the same way. A preop Tranny is just a gay dude with implants. Most real female providers I know avoid TS seeking hobbyists.

Hell Yes!! cockblock them Bisexual hobbyists that also see providers. I am so surprised to see this post-why? because just yesterday I was checking out the reviewers of some providers that I was interested in, to see if they have the habit of lying in their reviews. I have spotted a very few as most are honest. Well I saw 1 hobbyist who had see the provider I was interested in and I checked him out. Get this-this guy had 6 TS/Trannys that he had seen!
 I asked myself-Did the provider know that this guy is Bisexual( regardless if he is a top or bottom!). Now I am not so likely to see that provider!!
 Ladyjay is right, the provider probably did not check his reviews. My guess is that he may not have given his TER handle. And if he did-how many providers would inspect a hobbyist's TER handle to see if he is a SWITCH-HITTER?

If a hobbyist saw a TS and then wanted to see a provider. How would the provider know he saw a TS if he didn't review the TS?

How am I going to know if said provider saw a TS seeking client if client didn't review TS or provider for that matter?

...i realize that most here, hobbyists and providers alike, rely heavily on reviews to help guide them in matters such as this, but there are other ways to be informed. common sense is one of those ways. intuition is another. and the best way of all, taking the time to actually get to know someone before making a date with them. this flies in the face of standard hobbyist/provider practice, but it is something that i have done from the beginning and could not operate in this business without.

i am a straight provider, happily married, and (perhaps ironically to some) quite old-fashioned in some respects. one of these would be my extreme discomfort with M/M sexual activity, and the fact that one of those M's is a TS is completely irrelevant as far as i'm concerned. i would not wish to have any sexual contact whatsoever with a man who had had sexual contact at any point in his life with another male. and while of course there are no 100% guarantees, if you are wise, take things slowly, and get to know a person BEFORE taking the step of setting up an appointment with them....learn their character, their general way of life, their views on various issues, their likes and dislikes, needs and desires, fantasies, etc...then you can pretty safely rule out seeing someone with ways or beliefs that may make you uncomfortable. no scanning of review history necessary.

NEWSFLASH: not all heteros practice safe sex, and not all gay/bi men or T-girls are stupid about not protecting themselves.  

Often in hetero couplings, it is frowned upon to use protection in oral sex (either way).  CIM w/swallow is on many clients checklists, and somehow this makes some (genetic) girls more marketable (to some).  Just as there are some girls that require covers for oral, there are also some TS's that require it as well...or that make similar choices to what genetic girls do in their services.

Anal sex is also not an exclusively male bi/homo activitiy either, as frequent requests and reveiws of this activity show.  Why isn't the question: "Guys, are you leary of seeing a girl that offers anal sex?" or  "Ladies, are you leary of seeing a guy that you know enjoys anal sex with others??"

Anyone that is not in a committed, monogomous relationship must take on the responsibility of practicing safer sex, and assessing the risk factors of those they engage with.  Basing risk *solely* on orientation of the partners one engages with is pretty narrow minded IMO.

And I don't loose any sleep over loosing clients that are offended if I see clients that have played with T-girls...  We obviously are not on the same page about a couple of life's philosophies (namely tolerance/acceptance of others), so we would probably not be a good match up in the long run anyway.

Please, let's all grow up a little -- I'VE had (non-"business") sex with a F to M transexual several years ago, and never thought twice about any "increased ickiness/risk" (proper precautionary measures were used, of course, but nothing unusual).

Judge the people for what they do, not who they are. I would certainly see a client who has seen a TS, as long as they had all the qualities that I usually demand of my clients (respectful, polite, fantastic person, verifiable, etc.)

You know, I've a very very gay friend who loves to turn hetero men out.  I hear story after story of one hetero man after another taking his 12" cock in every way imaginable.  These men would NEVER write a review.  For every reviewer who writes a TS review, there are many who will never mention how many men they f'ck or got f'ck'd by.  The fear around TS providers and their clients is completely unfounded, IMHO.  As a provider I could care less.

You are all accepted to be a risk that I mitigate by my own actions and decisions, not via trying to determine who your past sex partners may or may not have been.  Let's face it - for you to be here at all, you are more promiscuous than many, and if you are a heavy reviewer...

You are absolutely right to condemn those who judge people for what they are.  There is no question that some posters show a real anger toward gays or TSexuals and this is pathetic; but the thrust of the question was a simple health one: Are TS providers more likely to transmit STDs?  This is not prejudice, just concern.  Unfortunately I can find no answer as the data are simply not there.  My experience with one TS who was a patient of mine was that she was very careful and had herself checked frequently. We, of all people, should not be prejudiced, but we have a right and duty to educate ourselves as to risks.  I do appreciate your very welcome condemnation of prejudice.

I wasn't responding to the first post necessarily, but to many of the responders who posted under that. Up to the point that I posted, not a single provider admitted that they would see a TS, and no hobbyists admitted to seeing one either.

The thrust of the original question (you were referring to the original post, right?) was NOT a simple health one -- no mention of health or STDs was made. To me, it seemed to be more of a "gross" factor, but that's very open to interpretation.
We often assume that TS women have a higher STD rate because of our preconceptions about their sex lives, but with no data to back it up. Just like it's often assumed that WE have higher STD rates because of our sex lives. I was not only disappointed by the "anti-TS" theme of this thread (and often in the past on TER), but by the subtle hypocrisy it implied.

I'd be very interested to see data too, if you find it, but that wouldn't change my policy, for a variety of reasons.
