why do ppl click through and read posts that end with eom??? eom

See what I mean? We always see posts ending with eom that still have a significant number of reads. You know there's nothing else to read inside there. So why click the link?

To see if it's a handle or an alias...

...to see if they have reviews. to see if it's a provider. to get the link to his or her reviews if any.

and because sometimes there are things in there and inquiring minds want to know, you know.

Some people use the "search" function to

see the new posts and if they find a new post interesting, they will click on it to get to the OP. eom

Why do you (a long time poster) keep asking dumb questions that have been asked repeatedly?

There are many reasons to click on eom posts.
1) It turns the post red, so when you come back yo the thread later you know which posts are new at a glance.
2) Some posters hide things in eom messages. Scoed used to be famous for putting some nice pictures in his eom messages. CPA sometimes does the same thing. Others put messages in there.
3) you might want to click to see if the poster has reviews, or to check out a provider's profile, if it's a provider posting, or you might want to send a PM to a poster.
4) to irritate the people who wonder why others click on eom messages.
