I tried bars no luck there either found one dated her most of 2007-2008. I not real ugly I 6.0 and 202 LB and rate me sight say I in top 55 percent base on looks But no GF so turn to providers for sexual need. I still have nowhere to turn for emotional needs.

To be honest? Because I'm lazy but have a very high sex drive. It's that simple.

I'm a single guy.  I have needs.  I go out and have dates and meet women, but there are many times where I just want to f*ck and jerkin' off just isn't going to cut it.  I think many of you know exactly what I mean.

So again, it comes down to simple laziness and the ease of the web. All I have to do is search through TER & other escort-based sites, click a few times, dial on the phone/email, setup the date, have fun.  Rinse and repeat.

I've been "hobbying" now for about 15 years, and things have changed *a lot* due to The Internets (TM). I've made mistakes. I've dated a number of providers. I've made a lot of friends. I keep a small number of providers who I see often, and then break out once and a while to see someone new.

Finally, I still date civvies. I date often. Why? Hobbying can be highly addictive. You *always* need to keep your head straight. Dating civvies for a single guy like myself, keeps me in check.

Like most every other guy that does this, we hobby for the "fun" of it.  (Now I sound like a Putt Putt commercial.)

I am uber picky about the women I "date".  There are certain character traits I want that I just don't settle for and I don't exactly live in an area that produces many women of my type.  

I have a couple of close female friends that I go out with a lot etc so in most ways, my "emotional" needs are met, just not the intimacy.  

But then again, I'm wired odd. Lol.

I have no desire for civvie relationships. Meaning, meeting a lady in the grocery store, striking up a conversation, and making a date, HOPING I get laid.

Not to say that's the end of all means. I just feel more comfortable in this forum.

I guess each of us have our reasons on why we hobby. For me, it's primarily sexual. However, I do have emotional needs as well. I do not look to providers for that, and because I know myself (at least I hope I do! LOL) I feel the absolute need to date civvies.

Also, sometimes it's nice having sex with someone who *truly* wants to have sex with you. Yes, maybe the civvie isn't as hot as the provider I saw the other week or maybe she doesn't do certain things that I'd like, but I also know there are many things that I do not get from hobbying. There is a reason why hobbying is called "Pay to Play."

Also, I am a natural "giver." I love to please. I just cannot help that.  In a weird way, this can be a problem in hobbying.  Go ahead and ask around.

I'm not saying that there aren't providers out there that like to be pleased or to be on the "receiving end of the giving," (I'm using the term "giving" in the broad sense, not necessarily DATY, etc.) I am saying that I can't expect this *nor* should I expect this.

Interesting question, I can get all the pussy and love at home but lets face it same old,,same old gets.. well, it gets old. The primary reason, that hasn't changed, is to meet basic needs for intimate companionship and human touch until such needs can be met in a more preferable way.

The secondary reason didn't exist until after I had actually met some escorts; because doing so initially was quite a hurdle for me.

The secondary reason is simply because I like the escorts I've been with. They have ranged from brighter than average to absolutely brilliant, have all been pretty, have had wonderful personalities and usually a great sense of humor etc. etc. I genuinely like them as people and enjoy their company.
