An unblurred pic is no guarantee at all that the gal is not LE.  LE, when they place an ad, often steals a photo from somewhere, and the more revealing the photo the better it is as bait.

Use the providers record of good reviews as your guide instead.

True .. EROS ad pics are supposed to be right click protected .. yet there are websites that create listings for ladies without asking them first and use EROS ad text and pics.

Although I suspect it has more to do with EROS selling that info than with these sites stealing it.

I hate having to blur my face .. especially every time i am going trough new pics .. like I am doing now.

I guess it would be ok. I personaly never go see a blurred provider because I fee; she's hiding or may be LE. I uderstand screening but just think, us clients are just as timid as you are about security. Some of us even give our real names. Who knows your real name. So who takes the bigger risk?

There were numerous conversations re "who is risking more". To get into that discussion will just produce train wreck so I won't even go there.  Here is something you may not have considered.

Every month I have literally thousands of visits to my website.  By law of averages, probability of my exposure should I have unblurred pics out there on front page is much higher than that of client who is contacting several individual providers.

I guess one of good points brought up by this discussion is possibility of someone posting password to my special gallery on some board and thus eliminating security step.

I guess that could be dealt with by changing password on regular basis.

I understand and respect the multitude of reasons for maintaining photos in a "blurred" condition to the general public. Many ladies blur their eyes, nose and mouth while leaving the remaining body portions unblurred. Is this the reason you do so?

If one believes that someone, perhaps a friend, family member or coworker, would not recognize you based on all of the blurred photos, physical description and location description most ladies offer, I suspect one may be retaining a false sense of secure privacy.

If you decide to offer unblurred pictures to pre screened clients and potential clients, it is a nice added option. Personally, I take into account much more than an unblurred photo. As I have only seen your blurred photos, read your website and your board postings, I don't need to see your unblurred pics to be convinced to see you !!!

but the risk for you is that someone will save or take a screen shot of your pics and post them somewhere for everyone to see....if you want to keep your privacy that would be a mistake IMHO

A great many escorts (you included) have great facial beauty that they have to hide in advertising.

In a world where beauty plays a part in the client's decision to buy or not to buy, I believe having unblurred facial pics available to guys who have already been screened can give one lady an edge over another in a guy's mind.

That having been said, there is really no software that can truly keep your pics safe. Once they are out there -- they are out there. And while most clients are respectful I am sure, at some point odds say you'll encounter someone less respectful.

So the decision should also be balanced against concerns about recognition in job interviews for future careers, etc.

On the one side you have marketing, on the other side future risk.

It's something only you could be competent to figure out properly!

I always blur my face because I don't need my family, friends, and/or neighbors knowing what I do.  I have a pretty face.  I would love to market myself using my smile and bright green eyes, but I cannot.  Instead of writing ladies off because their faces are blurred, you might want to consider that those who blur their faces are being more discreet.  No offense meant to the ladies who show their faces.  You are all braver than I, especially considering this is illegal and showing your face could get you caught.  I would also worry about checking into a hotel!  If you show your face, they know exactly what you look like.  Sorry.  No way.  Not me.  I'll stay blurred.

Peace, Betty

I blur my face.  When I attended the M&G's in my area, the people there are shocked to know it is me.  They said they would never recognize me by my pics.  Most were pleasantly surprised.  :)  So no...you would not recognize me.  Even if it is what you call a false sense of secure privacy... I'll take it.

I can get any image from any web page, if I want to. Most sites are not sophisticated enough to really hide the image. If they make it that hard, and I want it, I just do a screen grab.

At a minimum, I would only provide face images for those that have pre-screened. Personally, I don't believe it will make that much of a change in the number of sessions booked. I think most guys will book you primarily for your body-type, more-so than your face. However, thats me. I think if you have more of an "average/slender" figure (without the yummy eye-popping curves), then an unblurred face image might be more useful.

Either way, I would make any unblurred face picture a non-erotic photo.

You could have a password assigned to each person. Then you would know who passed around their password, if that were to happen.
You would need to assign a user id and password to each person, but this could be automatically generated when they pass your screening process.

The "right click protect" software is the kind of thing that might keep an honest person honest, but it won't keep a thief out.

It is so easily defeated it isn't even funny. It's just a little javscript app.

The right click protect feature applies across the board on sites (even to the text), yet when I send stuff from a lady's site to her, I have no trouble at all copying it so I don't have to re-type it.

Pasword protected or not, any unblurred photos are an risk.

Changing the PW helps reduce one of those risks, but there are two others you need to consider
--Someone copying the photo and using it in a way that you lose control over who views it
--Web archives who pick up the phot from your site (or from wherever someone else copied & posted it)  They live essentially forever and women have had photos of themselves show up years after they retired.

I'm not saying don't do it but just knowingly weigh the risks.

Yes, some guys won't see you otherwise.  Only you can judge if that lost business is or isn't worth the additional risk in your case.  I usually advise against it, but then most the women I advise plan on doing this a short while to get through school, etc. and the risk of their photo showing up when they are retired and in a different line of work that looks very unfavorably on their previous profession isn't a risk they want to accept.

No single answer for all.

One way some ladies do this is to have sexy shots that do not show their face or other identifying features in open access.
Then when someone passes their screening, they get access to the private area which shows their face.
I have also seen one provider state "you send me your pic" and "I will send you mine". She does quite well, but I never asked how many men send their pics.

All that said, I mainly go by the reviews. If a lady has several very good reviews and her TER information indicates she is someone I would like to see, then I want to see her site and face.
I have noticed some ladies post pictures on TER boards that do show their face. They do not show their own pics on their sites or their faces are blurred. I do not understand why they do this, as you can google their "name" and pull up the TER thread. Again, read the reviews and find your best match. Next go to their web site and then google them for additional information.

Every read the boards here:

"Yes, I got to see her for only $200, though she was charging $300."

"If you negotiate right, she'll let you do Greek for almost nothing."

I'd ask some of the ladies you know personally. A few ladies have tried having members only sites only to have content leaked within a month.

If you do post face shots, make sure they are fully clothed. That way, when it comes back to you in real life, because the men will leak it, you can say someone stole the photo from your facebook page. The dumbest ladies are the ones who post unblurred face photos with their naked body attached. It's either one or the other. A head shot clothed, no body parts exposed, or body parts expose. Never the same in one photo.

NAY!

The thing most likely to get me to book is her face. Then personality if it can be determined. After that it is reputation. Body type while important will never get me to book. I would go in sight unseen just as quick as with blurred pictures as her face is that important. If the face is blurred the photos are useless to me. I understand why the ladies blur their face and I would too in their place. As many people sated once a photo is on the web there is no way to control it and it is out there forever and could cause problems if you retire or the wrong people see it. That being said The only thing that can really sell me in a picture to book is her face. I will see ladies that hide their face but it is something other than blurred photo that caught my attention.

The fact that I can see your face before the appointment could be enough for me to send my screening information and set a set a date far enough out that I have time to back out if you are not attractive to me. Please note it would only reduce some of the risk of having photos with your face out there and the photos my still get out. It is up to you, It may get you more business but it would also increase your risk of being recognized or the photos resurfacing later when it is not convenient.

I can understand that some potential clients feel they need to see a face pic before booking.

I would suggest that rather than posting them on the web with password protection, email a photo to those that have been screened AND also request the photo. This helps limit potential exposure more than the password protected web page.

I would also suggest placing some text or other type of visible watermarking to make it more difficult for anyone wishing to "steal" the photo or use it for unauthorized purposes. In this case you DON'T want the watermark to be something that links your face photo to your provider name, phone number, website, etc.

If you want to be EXTREMELY careful (some might say paranoid?), there are ways to incorporate invisible identifying "watermarks". You could customize each and every photo sent so that the custom watermark corresponds to that specific request. Then if your photo showed up somewhere, you would know where it leaked from. Even knowing that wouldn't mean that that the recipient was the one who leaked it; could be leaked if their computer was hacked, email virus, etc.

She kept her sight up when we were together but decided on unblurring her face.  Suddenly half a dozen people know my girlfriend is an escort and she's surprised.   So much for being discreet.   It's not like she had to work anyway.   I'm in the public eye every day and hold a professional license; so as fucked up as it is that means morality clauses.  Please keep then blurred.

to have your face exposed to the world as part of this hobby.  If you have family or friends who you don't want to find out about what you do, then you need to continue to blur your face or cover it in some way.  A blurred face on pics will not stop me from seeing a lady I am attracted to that has good reviews.

My dear, firefighters don't go to a fire to watch daisies grow. If your family, friends and neighbors find your ad on an escort ad site, they have as much explaining to do to you as you have to them. I prefer not to pursue ads where faces are blurred. I stopped trying blurred face ads a while back, did not find a single blurred faced, legit lady. Hire a professional erotic photographers.

Thanks for responding. You offer a valid point. A M&G presents opportunities for people to meet perhaps for the first time. I did specify that "perhaps a friend, family member or coworker " or in other words, a person you know in civvie life, would be capable of recognizing a provider on a web site with blurred photos and, clearly, more so without.

I appreciate that you disgaree but, it appears your opinion and experience may have been based on non equivalent circumstances.

The overwhelming majority of providers I have seen had unblurred face pics.  I think this correlation is unconscious; I think I am attracted to cute faces more than the average guy.

If you do unblur your face, I like the idea of being fully clothed so that you can retain plausible deniability in case your cover is blown in some way.

Good luck!

I fully agree and and would prefer the fully clothed face shot over the faceless nude shot. Showing both your face and your undressed  or mostly undressed body in one photo will likely cause you problems. Don't do it. And some guys will leek your photo. I wouldn't, but like some providers don't care about there clients privacy, some guys don't about your privacy and will display your photo or store it against your will. Once your photo is on the web it is out there and there is no good way of keeping control of it. Unless you are being well paid to do porn, You should never put a nude or mostly nude photo with your face on the web. Ever. Password protected or not. But a mix of clothed face shots and faceless nude or nearly nude shots are always appreciated, but you should only put out what you are companionable having your mom and your SO find on there own and see and also having the photo show up after you retire, password protected or not.
