I have never (knowingly) used an agency and don't see any reason to switch from independent providers.

There are good ones and bad ones. 100 Proof LV, for example, is one of the good ones. Agencies have never been my primary source of pussy but the good ones are a fine fall-back when something falls through or you need a date at the last minute.

The article states the brothel ring operated 6 locations in Massachusetts that’s a lot of tractor & they all kept written documentation. Bareback sex is what the majority of the 28 John’s paid for and 16 are up for charges in front of a judge… that’s pretty crazy.

I am 100% independent with no booker, no agent & I love booking my own business. I prefer friends over clients, or John’s.

.. not to share your real identity with agency owners and use a burner phone..  This way if and when they get busted, the authorities will have a real hard time trying to piece everything together.  The juice won't be worth the squeeze unless they suspect you are some high profile person they want to shame, and they will  move on to the next person.

I read this indictment a couple of yrs ago as it's pretty close to where I live in Northern VA.  This was a massive sting operation.

Ok. You don't like agencies. So? Thanks for sharing.

You'll always have the indies on the board pile on with "I am independent, hear me roar" or some shit about sharing energy.

Like the other poster said. There's great agencies out there...like the one he mentioned in Vegas. Some of these independents are way more fragmented than agencies, and I've BB plenty of indies over the years, so no idea why that's used as a rallying cry.

The picture of the two women with blurred faces looks like one of those touched up fake pictures kgirl agencies use. Other elements suggest this was a model similar to the kgirls in LA. If you look on their websites, they usually run multiple locations, offer BB service, and are in the low cost high volume game. Another reason to avoid THOSE type of agencies.

A few interesting things about that bust. MA choose to pursue clients while VA didn't but one would think they had the exact same evidence. But maybe not, would be nice to know.

Some of the MA suspects are locally known, I don't think any are nationally known (as in other cases) and given the protests during the hearing I'm not sure the goal is about just going after "high juice" suspects. The thinking seems to be that they can stop what is viewed as morally offensive by going after the demand side rather than the supply side. God forbid they just try letting consensual interactions occur and if they think some are just in a hard place financially (or mentally/emotionally) providing assistance to those who seek it rather than the work of a provider. So I think risk should be assessed from a local standpoint.

You're right that not giving out PII, while others are, makes you less likely to be swept up in the operation. But I suspect that only holds as long as there are enough easy targets to move on to to make the impression of having done something. If not then I think they move on to finding people the old fashioned way.

I still use agencies and don't really worry about it at all. To some extent I've revised my view but that is more about the local political/social culture as your have 28 guys in MA that are getting charged but 0 guys in VA even though you would think the same type of information is available in both jurisdictions. Why did VA choose not to pursue any of the customers? Why no out cry or protests about how "a body is not a workplace" or other such BS that was claimed in MA?

Agencies offer advantages. You know the agency and what to expect from who they are giving support to (and in the case of these K agencies it's really more about giving logistical support than the girls working there being beholden to them or subject to the agency whims like some of the other agencies that have existed). You only screen once. If you're a regular the book may well understand what type of woman you prefer and help you see that type rather than some other type you won't be happy with. That would depend on if they find you a likable person or not I think.

Indies are a case of opening the box of chocolates each and every time you see a new one. Plus, seems like there are a lot more scams occurring on the indie side as well as more of a trend to deposits there.

No risk-free options so pick you're playing field and be happy.

This issue IS of GENERAL interest to the General board but more detailed info can be found on the Boston Board:

Boston Top Ten
.
That thread covers older news (the initial bust in 2023) and more recent news. It also offers local discussion of the local politics, details of what happened, how clients were located and which ones were targeted for prosecution, other agencies, busts, etc..

Any agency that requests a copy of a license, linked- in account, selfie, or government issued i.d. is automatically a no go for me.  Not sure which is dumber, them asking, or someone complying.

I book through a few Kgirl agencies and a non-kgirl agency regularly! I have a huge selection, and it usually takes a few texts and less than five minutes to book my next appointment. Of course they recognize my burner number. I definitely get preferential treatment at times! They provide a great service in my opinion.
