I've always liked the word Hooker! I have met some providers, that didn't like the word, but it never bothered me.
Maybe, its because the 1st hooker book, I ever read was The Happy Hooker! Hey, I'm a hooker and I'm happy, anything wrong with that? LOL I'm secure within myself and my chosen profession. 
Probably, the word I dislike the most is Prostitute!
I've always heard that, all ladies are whores at heart, but only some know how to enjoy it!

Call girl is not even descriptive anymore. A lot of them don't take calls till the session is already set up. Hence, "call me" doesn't always apply. I'm sure another term will come along, I'll try to think of one myself. Webwench? (Too Elmer Fudd!) A Web-hetaire? It has a better sound.

Just my two cents from a guy, I think 'Hooker' is worlds better then prositute. At least the term 'Hooker' is an american term from the civil war and founded in our history....gives me a sense of americano pride to hear that word
