Has any of you girls had Backpage ad that were created without your knowledge then linked to the TER profile??. I just found out and I am pissed. Wonder if any other providers has similar experience and what you did to have it removed..

yup. They pull your ads off Eros CL and any place else they can. Bythe way, they r not the only ones doing this. Google yourself and you'll see.

I asked to have it taken off my profile it was refused. BackPage and TER are cashing in on each other. I am taking my ad off BackPage now so they lost a paying customer. I use to have "see my reviews on TER" on my website but why when TER directs them to another site. With all the money TER pays to advertise why make a deal with a place like BackPage for free ads.

Which boards/sites have you found your money best invested in? I'd like to pay for only a select one or two, just starting out. There's just so much to choose from it's hard to know what's best.

area.  What works in one area may not work in another.  Google your area with keywords and see which sites come up.  Track your visitor activity on your website to see which site drives the most people to you.  Also, see what sites the women in your area advertise on and then try them!

...putting up ads for us without our permission?  It's ludicrous!  Those two sites are a bigger scam than CL.

Me Too!  Someone has created a fake Cityvibe ad for me without my knowledge or permission, and used photos taken from my website.  This ad is now in my TER profile also without my permission.  I have reported to TER admin and hope they correct this soon.  TER is a great place, however fake info in provider's profile does not do anyone any good at all.  It just undermines everones credibility, providers, hobbyists, and TER.  Accurate information is most important.

So what exactly is the problem ?  

Based on what you are stating, you are getting some free advertisement via this "backpage" ad, or did I mis-read the situation ?  

I am not a lawyer, but I would think that, if your photos are truly copyrighted, you would have the basis to send a cease and desist letter to them alerting them to the fact that the images are under copyright protection and threatening legal action. If there's a lawyer on the site, s/he may be able to confirm.

had that happen to them as well. I think they find good providers (such as Carla) and put there info on there site cuase most I think are Rip offs and they need good ones like Carla to keep the guys coming back!

I have a reputation to uphold.  We ladies should be able to choose where we appear.  I do not wish to be associated with the lower end sites, like Backpage and CityVibe.  We gals are in an on-going struggle with these sites.  They care nothing about our objections to their copyright infringement when they steal our photos and post them without our permission.  It's like the Wild West.  They feel they can do as they please.

It is NOT free advertising.  It is bogus bullshit.

So you don't want to dilute your reputation by being associated with the "proletariat" ?  LOL.  So that was the "problem" from the perspective of the OP.

To be quite frank, my most recent encounter was through an ad in backpage, who in turn is currently gathering 9s, 8s and 10s (well deserved ones, mind you) in MN.

Along with checking out the well reviewed TER ladies (which includes my ATF), I will continue to scan through backpage to find out if there are any other up and coming diamonds in the rough.

I am VERY choosy when it comes to my hobby partners, and do find a number of the ladies who advertise on backpage, to be outstanding ones, who don't charge an arm and a leg either.

I have also had girls steal my pitures i Miami and Texas. I was notified though. It seems like this is just one of the down sides to this biz.

We need to be in charge of our own advertising.  There is a tremendous difference in the clients, screening acceptance and LE action from one site to another.  Not all of us want to have our ads splashed all over hell and back.  Many of us do not want our info stolen and used to create traffic for other sites.  ((Don't get it wrong, this is not free advertising, this is taking advantage of US to bring in and to keep their traffic.))

There is no way for us to update or correct misinformation in many of these instances... and what if we find ourselves in a position of needing our ads to disappear NOW?

Personally I won't deal with CityVibe because they are unethical racketeering fucks who told me to get a lawyer if I wanted my information removed from their site.  To this day they spam me to try to get me to buy ads from them.  Yeah, no.

Backpage is the new CL.  It will work great for some ladies, some of us have no stomach for it.  

The bottom line is, "free advertising" has a price that we did not sign up for, and often do not appreciate.

It just happened to me!

They created some BS ad from newer ads I have... Including new pics that were done June 20th...

They then "hid" it under a May 24th posting.
