Whew! I feel better now! (e)

I mused over this subject last night and couldn't come to any conclusion.

At first I thought it must be the gals, owing to how nature imbued men with the need to seek out new partners constantly to spread our seed as far and wide as possible (Which fact substantiates why men pay for sex and women, as a rule, do not.)  Women, on the other hand, since they have the babies, must seek out a partner with whom she can rely on for sustenance while she tends to rearing the children.

Ipso, facto, the gals' hearts are going to break more easily then the men's as the men are always marching off to the greater glory of more sex while the gals pine away, babes in arms (literally or figuratively).

But then I reflected on my own experience of having been jilted several times in civie life, as well as in the hobby life, and wondered why I felt so awful afterwards if these relationships should not have mattered to me.  I wondered what mechanism caused the pain.

I think it might be the male ego, which needs constant stoking.  I'm not saying that the gals don't also have egos, but invariably it's the male one that always seems to be making the news.

So, is it a draw?

I wonder if we could conduct an informal poll between guys and gals to see whose hearts have been broken more often and see if by that we can draw any conclusions.

I don't fare too badly having had only two or three major heart breaks out of close to 200 women I've been somewhat close to, yet I am certainly not immune.

Some guys (I won't mention the name, but I bet people here can guess whom I'm referring to.) have heart breaks on a semi-weekly basis.

What's your frequency, Kenneth  (and Kennethenas)?

... It may just be a draw.

I believe that noticing the incidence of pain on an emotional well being is more pronounced and thereby expected within women.

I also believe that men feel the same degree of pain and disappointment but will tend to hide it much better.

After all  it's in our DNA,  we are  programed to be strong and fearless and all the rest of that macho bullshit. Showing weakness goes against human nature.

I would have to conclude that men are the weaker sex where it comes to "falling down and not being able to get up"

I have had my heart broken on a few ocassions and I am a heartless prick. lol

Is that every once in a while the thirty seconds in between the time I cum and she goes doesn't seem like a complete eternity and I don't find myself completely elated that she's gone after about five minutes.

Record the session and you can watch it over and over again.

Before you watch your record session make sure you have civie or a provider lined up to get a release.

I don't really have any desire to "watch myself in action", if the sex with any woman in particular is that good, I will just repeat with her until it gets old and/or boring.

I like to watch it and actually see how time I spent fucking versus all the other BS that goes on. One time I came into an appointment at 6:30 am in a dark room. I spent way to much time look for toys I like to use in sessions (I carry 3 bags with me sometimes). Hard finding a black blindfold in a dark room.

On subsequent sessions I pre-stagged my equipment and knew what the bring. I knew where my locks, collars, restraints and chains where to restrain the provider to the bed.

I have learned how I can get the session down from 2 hours to 1 hour if I wanted too.

It sounds a bit like you are confusing our hearts with our sex organs. In my experience, men have a much harder time separating the two than women do. In the world of P4P men are the ones who keep showing up on these boards talking about falling for a provider. It may be ego related to an extent. As men we want to think that we are special, that we are pleasing a woman even though the ones we are paying are pleased by an entirely different set of criteria than the ones we are with in civvie life. Meanwhile, providers are having sex with dozens of men and feeling little or nothing for any of them. Why? Because, for the most part, women know how to separate their hearts from their vaginas. If you pay for pussy all you are getting is the pussy.  If you win a woman's heart you get it all.  It seems to be the opposite for men. Once you fuck the guy, even if he pays you, he wants to follow you around like a new puppy...LOL, sadly, I know this from personal experience.  My hat is off to the guys who can see woman after woman without, at least occasionally, falling head-over heals. Over the years I have failed miserably at this...

I was getting a lap dance from a lovely dancer friend of mine a few days ago and the subject of guys asking her for sex came up. She told me that when men ask her how much she charges for sex in the VIP room she always gives the same answer. "If I really like you it won't cost you anything". Of course, she has never had sex in the VIP room...

My short time here in fuck fantasy land has helped me gain perspective on this question.  Heartache comes into perspective here, for a lot of reasons.  On one hand, it quickly helps one realize again there are plenty of fish in the sea.  Next, it helps you see how easy it is to fake yourself out, and create false feeling for strangers.  It takes a lifetime to really know someone .  Last, it highlights just how great a distance there is between very special people and everyone else you happen upon, or buy.  Anyway, I have an appointment for a hot fuck with a stranger this afternoon.  Hopefully she'll only pretend to be someone that matters to me and I'll only believe it for a couple of hours.  Falling for a provider sounds like a complete disaster

I love to see how the gal looks while she's fucking me, but when I make the mistake of looking at myself I think I'm seeing a porno version of "Beauty and the Beast."

measurable differences between the genders are smaller than the measurable differences within a gender. its probably not an exact draw but it is fairly close.

the "guy-things" and "girl-things" differences are generally overdrawn. there is a lot of posturing by guys who want to be a guy's guy. girls also posture to be "girly girls". when we talk and speculate we entertain ourselves by exaggerating the differences.

In the world of commercial sex, it appears to be men who are more lkely to view the transaction unrealistically.  In the larger world, both genders are probably about equally realistic about romantic relationships.

the guys. These ladies know their business and know not to get involved.

Us guys fall into the fantasy and are clearly open to heart break much more easily.

Civie business different story.

Good perspective john, and quite brief too!

I might also add that besides there never being a discovery of the Americas, the French Foreign Legion would have never existed.

I believe that in the short term it is easier to emotionally hurt a woman than a man; but that emotional hurts, once accomplished to both genders, run deeper and last longer in men.

I have friends who are women, some of whom have been friends for essentially my entire adult life. And what these ladies tell me is that even the most serious heartbreaks to them have largely been fixed with a pint of Rocky Road, a night out with the girls, and about a week.

But I know men who have literally never been the same even decades after some particularly nasty heartbreaks.

HOWEVER, this is probably a good thing; as without heartbreaks  and re-allocated sex drive allowing men to put their energies elsewhere; Columbus would likely never have sailed the ocean blue.

No, not a draw at all.  The weaker sex is weaker not just physically, but emotionally.

Yes, it's a generalization--and obviously I'm talking about the civie world, not this upside down hobby world, where women are practiced in the art of detachment--but women mourn, and men replace.

My apologies to the delicate men and stoic women whom I've lumped in with the masses. ;-)

Matt

ps~I sometimes wonder, have I ever suffered a broken heart, or merely a bruised ego.  I think it's often hard for a man to distinguish the two.  No doubt I've been hurt a couple times.  But was it my heart?  Or my ego?  Maybe a mix of both.
