Get a new business phone, call it your private line. Do all your business from it going forward. After you have assured yourself that a caller is legit, give them the new number. Only turn on your old work phone when convenient & eventually phase it out. Leave the old number shut OFF the rest of the time.
You should step up screening and all security precautions for the foreseeable future. If you have any reason to suspect your location has been compromised, you'll have to relocate your business at the very least. Being super observant in & around your location is critical right now.

Ok, well now that I need a valium! LOL I appreciate the advice and I certainly realized the "hazards of my profession" when I made the decision to partake.I think we all realize the potential nightmares of this arena but we partake anyways...for that we are all guilty.
I have played it safe thus far and being low volume was how I took comfort in working out of my home but now that I'm being confronted with this BS I know I have to do something. I clearly cannot count on my clients being as careful and as guarded as I am!
LR this is NOT my only source of income and I can swing an apartment but I'd rather NOT spend a boat load of $$ on an apartment/condo. Ideally I'd love to find another provider to share a space with but I know that will be a rare find. Also, who's to say that every possible scenario that can happen from working out of my home cannot happen while working out of an apartment/condo?? My name will be on a lease and the landlord would not appreciate me using HIS/HER property for such things. Nosey neighbors, jealous wives, ....they will all still be there just the same.

but you are incorrect in stating the same things can happen at your home can also happen at your incalls. How exactly? If you're not LIVING and sleeping there, random guys can't show up to harrass you. They have no clue who is there, including if a guy might be the one living there.
As for neighbors, um, college towns with busy apartment buildings and off street parking, take care of that. If you are "so low volume" I highly doubt 2-3 guys a week, is going to raise any eyebrows, and no you do not have to put "your name" on any lease. For six years I had 3 different incalls, and not once has anyone complained or have I had any provider tell me some idiot showed up unannounced. EVERY guy allowed to use those spaces provided personal info. and we did not exactly accept employment from the pizza boy lol.
Like I said, be happy to speak with you in private. I've been at this for 10 years either running an agency, leasing out incall space, or being a provider. All the mistakes people make now, I have already made and learned from them.

I am not getting defensive as I did thank everyone for their advice but I think some of the comments, or how they were presented were not helpful and seemed to be more about making me feel stupid. As I said, I am in the New England area and would not mind sharing a space with a provider but I guess until then I will look around for a suitable place. London, your suggestion to be in a college town is a decent idea as I prefer something where traffic would not stand out. I see about 5 clients per week sometimes less. No, you should not be in panic mode, as when panicked people tend to double down on their mistakes, but you should be taking this very, very seriously, and if you come away from this only learning one lesson, please make it be to never operate from home. I have only listen a small fraction of the potential consequences of doing so.

How would a RICO charge for running a house of prostitution impact your life? Or having a stalker at your front door at 4 AM? if your quiet , get up early do appt in day time, dont make a racket all night. dont go bananas and try and become a millionaire. be on strict budget pay bills rent rood one luxury when bills paid. no ones gonna care.

that is a good point. a second apt is still under your name, . your still going to be found there every day or night or whatever case is. so essentially if the lady is to do something nutzo. she d pay a hot man to book a fake session, and he wouldnt show up at your apt at night. he d book as aclient then show up at the seperate incall, your doing extra hmm, lets see to get the place at, 300 a guy. decent apt in boston min is 1,200.
