Probably a silly question. My guess: what you care about is the donation, and having a good time. My guess is that it's not an issue for any provider who loves her work, but I'm still curious.

I always take it off -- for my own benefit -- because it helps preserve the fantasy. Of course, then you have to remember to put it back on!

This question came up last month .... not one providor who answered gave a damn about the ring.

I have seen providers mention (especially independent ones) that married men are more likely to be discreet, and are a little safer as clients as they have more to lose by being caught than single guys.

Seriously, depending on the situation, where you live or line of work you are in, discretion is a must.  Speaking for my self, I am fairly high profile in my area, specifically in the industry I work (advertising and marketing).  Discretion is a must for me.

I don't see escorts much but I do have a mistress, who is engaged, and she wears her engagement ring. And it's not the first engaged woman I've seen in this way.

It does not bother me at all. i even bought myself a nice diamnond ring and I wear it as if i am married. I did this only becaue I thought that if I was out with a gentleman and he had a ring on and so did i then it would seem more like we were married. I always seem like I am married to the gent anyway in public. And if people ask I say that this is my husband or if that is too much i just say that we are old friends being reunited for some fun. It does not really help though because even if men see a ring on the woman finger it is like a quest to see if they can get to her. Just like a man. woman are somewhat the same. I know it sounds silly but just my take on it.
