I guess I am hunting for a nest.....

I hunt a little, but nothing like what you describe. I like variety, but I am not opposed to repeating. I also don't think about the next one so quickly. I'm always in the moment with who I see. At the same time, like a nester, I am often a little uncomfortable with the awkwardness you describe. Yet, I rarely repeat, and certainly don't want a longterm regular. I have reasons why going too hard on repeat with one lady just isn't for me.

of the posters here are new since then, but as you can see, I never actually asked it as a question before.  Thought it would be fun to find out where the newer members see themselves on this issue.  No offense taken if you don't want to join in.

as a combination of hunter and nester.   Since you only repeat for a limited time period, It seems you are more of a hunter than a nester, maybe 75%-25%?  80%-20%?  I didn't mean to imply that being a combination had to be 50/50.

I guess I am both. However if I meet a lady in a city or location that brings it every time.. I am likely to Nest with her in that location.  As a 'travel' hobbiest I find that variety is a huge draw.. But if a lady an I have good chemistry  and Hot sex I am likely to call on her first.
With that said, i've found over time the heat dwindles.. so I move on.  then circle back maybe a year or so later.

Fair enough. If there is more wiggle room than your initial descriptions, I can accept that.

I would consider myself in your third description.  I do find a benefit in repeating as we both get to know what the other likes.  

Participating in the hobby for me is like selecting a restaurant.  I have a small core-group of restaurants that I visit repeatedly because I like the menu - and the service.  I know I will ALWAYS leave satisfied.  But occasionally, I will try a new restaurant for variety and a new experience - and on rare occasions that new restaurant will become a part of the core-group.

You could have left out "I guess". LOL

Great analogy ...  I like to know that what I'm expecting, is what I'm going to receive.  Which is why repeats exist.  Then there is the fact that variety is the spice of life - and as mongers, we must indulge, especially in things that we find irresistible.

So I would call myself a nester.
I haven't gone back and counted, but I'm sure I saw my ATF 200 times before she retired.
There are 3 or 4 others that have exceeded the 25-session threshold.
I only hunt when one of my rotation retires, takes a long break, or wants to introduce me to a friend. When I do hunt, it's always based on strong recommendations from either another monger or a provider.

Definitely a nester for now....  
1. Have a favorite DATY lady that O's (shaking or really fantastic actress)
2. Two favorite amp ladies that provides a solid massage and PaT (Pull and Tug my new acronym
3. Couple past ATF's I have not seen for awhile still on the circuit who I hope to see in the near future....

I was thinking the other day after a discussion with my brother about the business and how it has changed.  While the strict escort once was find a hotter at 300 to 400 is long gone there are so many new choices to fill that void. In response to escorts thinking that 800 per hour is reasonable there seems to be a variety of options now. You've got AMPs routinely providing FS. Asian agencies. Strippers. Sugarbabies....who/what am I missing?  All this possible because of the internet. Sure is different than 2010.

for anyone after the euphoria of the initial period of hedonism when you first become a monger has passed.  I have said on many occasions that the first appointment with a new provider is an audition for her to become a regular.  I have tried SB's, but for me, their abilities are usually far short of the accepted skill set of a professional escort.  The last couple of years, I have also concentrated on longer term relationships with my regulars, compared to ten years ago when I would see more new girls than repeats.  Now it's the opposite.  I see new girls when attrition has taken away a girl that I need a replacement for.  

There is my main squeeze and then the occasional "got to see that!" who shows up visiting and strikes my fancy.

When I was a kid we'd get the Christmas catalogs from Sears and Wards and want every toy listed.  I still look at all the escort and SB ads and want to sample most of them.
