I thought the only internal part of the vagina that had nerve endings was the G-Spot.  Funny thing is, last night my ex was explaining how she's become increasingly orgasmic and not just from her clitoris.  She said she was having real, vaginal orgasms.  I just sent her a copy of the article so she'll know what they really are.
Thanks for a great article, I just wish the G-Spot had been included in the diagrams.  It would be interesting to know what, if any, connection the G-Spot and internal clitoris have.

There is a lot of debate on whether the G-spot actually exists as an anatomical 'spot'. Many researchers believe g-spot orgasms arise from stimulation of the internal clitoris, since the area many women indicate would correspond with nerve endings from the internal clitoris. This also explains why many women don't/can't have g-spot orgasms, due to the depth/length/area of the internal clitoris, etc.

Right.  And if there's no G-spot, how does one explain Skene's gland and female ejaculation?  There's been a lot of debate here about the latter but many of us know it's not pee.  Here's what Wikipedia says (and, yes, I know it's not definitive):
