Recent threads observe a nature of bitterness of hobbyist v. provider and vice versa. Is it the stringent copulation of personalities and attitudes that forebode viable threads or a true nature of ungratefulness and entitlement in regards to the nature of the hobby. One can only be such an elitist partaking in such a natural and intimate sport. And while there are numerous variations, the conclusion persists that it's just fucking. Do the protests arise from lack of a fuck/buck or the measures it takes to get a fuck/buck? Chime in!

Online only personalities will always cause conflict if they never meet. I see more board flames and I too wonder is it this way when they are eye to eye?  It appears that some seem to take the upper hand . The board by far witholds nothing and there should be no ungratefulness but ... there is. I have read the insults never having sampled one or the other, and  I wonder , is this how people are in person? I believe the protests arise from the lack of buck  but also life and its issues surfacing through ungrateful, both on and off boards. When boards gain no feedback some people seek in person meets just to further insult someone making sure ther voice  is heard. Sad isn't it? The taste is very bitter indeed.

when conflict meets online personalities it will flame too. And, even though there is no actual withholding on the board, the protests and insults never sampled are different when they arise from a lack of buck than they are when life's issues surface.   But, I agree, if ungrateful in person it is sad and bitter tasting.

Bitterness, not me, i love em all, some, more than others....lol.
IMO, their would be alot less bitterness, both ways, if u really knew the other person.
Of course, some people, by nature, are just bitter!! ( pretty shitty way to live, if ya ask me )

A bunch of anonymous folks beating each other up anonymously.  What's the big deal really? Veiled acrimony between parties exists in just about any industry you can imagine. If it's not client vs. vendor it's labor vs. management.  Provider vs. client is really no different.

We all happen to be on a website using fake names so the gloves are off but, speaking for myself at least, I don't really draw a connection between most of what I read here and what happens when I schedule an appointment with a provider.  That is to say, I don't care what she thinks of me, my looks, the size of my penis, the way I'm dressed, how often I book with her. I don't care who else she sees, how many she sees,  or if she books appointments with guys who book appointments with pre-ops, post ops or fucking space aliens for that matter.

Sex and money are two basic human needs. It's just not that complicated. In fact, the money simplifies it. All we have to agree on is when and how much...

Sometimes those opinions get more press because they post so much.  Having been a guy who has posted on other boards that are not related to this hobby, I can tell you that it's easy to mistake the boards for being completely indicative of one person's posts, when that's not in fact the case at all.  It can feel like there are cliques here, and of course there are, but I wouldn't take anything here that seriously.

There are lots of providers that don't post on these boards, and their opinions are very different from what I have seen here.  Some of the providers who post here the most (not necessarily on this GD board, but on the local provider ads boards and the local boards) might be more bitter in some sense because they aren't booked and thus have the time to go post on the boards.

Or, it could be that the very nature of the boards is that it tends to attract people who absolutely cannot keep their mouths shut about things and have to tell everyone.  Boards tend to attract very opinionated people.  Truth is, most of those people in real life are pretty tame, even though they may come off as sociopaths on the board.

It's easy to think that one person who posts a lot speaks for the whole hobbying community.  But it's rarely true.

Crazy,

You are absolutely correct on your posting.

I really do believe that in some cases, some people are nothing more than drama queens/kings and are usually reflective of their life away from the computer.

In some situations, some people come across as being cyber bullies, but if you meet them in person, they are the opposite.

Then, you have some people who know that they are behind a monitor and feel empowered to say anything want, to be anything they want that are not indicative of their real life.

Some people like to argue, some debate, some just like to call out contradictions and stupidity when they see it. It's not exclusive to a hooker board, but on EVERY message board. There are those who truly don't like others, and there are those who just like to fk off here. Some people are dangerous and have no business here to start with, and have been pretty much shunned by most of the veteran posters for good reason...they are psychos!

Honestly, i don't understand why GROWN men, would cause danger for women....i just don't get it, in this little pea brain of mine.

and there seems to be an overabundance of psychos lately..boredom tends to do that to you..what ever happened to looking at reviews and getting laid,,isnt that the reason we are here..all i hear lately is this petty meaningless drivel about shit that has no business in this hobby..

Get territorial because this is their primary form of social interaction.  I've seen it on a ton of other boards.  Some people literally get to the point where this is their primary source of interaction with people.

And so it's logical that when something or someone threatens their "place" on a board, they get very defensive.

Not saying that anyone here is guilty of that, but people definitely do get territorial.

Unfortunately a lot of people in this lifestyle tend to self delude themselves and as soon as reality knocks on the door ... ain't pretty

After all, if it weren't for reality, I might never head back to this wonderful place.

I don't get it.  I enjoy the hobby...what is the point if you bring negative BS, and can't enjoy and delight with being with the ladies?

Betty Botter bought some butter, "But," she said, "this butter's bitter; If I put it in my batter, It will make my batter bitter; But a bit of better butter, Better than the bitter butter Will but make my bitter batter better." So she bought a bit of better butter, Better than the bitter butter, and made her bitter batter better.

Betty Botter bought a bit of butter. The butter Betty Botter bought was a bit bitter And made her batter bitter. But a bit of better butter Makes better batter. So Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter, Making Betty Botter's bitter batter better.
