Over the last couple years, I’ve had the privilege to meet with several highly reviewed, highly rated providers and have generally been well satisfied with their skill and professionalism.  Though the overall performance has generally been good to excellent, I’ve sometimes been distressed to see how some of them let themselves go with time.  One provider, I saw twice separated by a year (she tours) and noted a real decline from the first visit to the second.  Besides the disappointment and even implied dishonesty of using outdated pictures, I can’t help being somewhat amazed that providers that are otherwise professional in every way are not so when it comes to keeping themselves up.  I mean, sometimes, it’s downright depressing!  I myself am a comparatively old bugger, but I have a good workout ethic, and I know it doesn’t take that much time to stay in shape, if one is serious and consistent.  Similarly, diet is just a matter of discipline.    I can’t help but believe these providers are needlessly limiting their productive careers, analogous to a natural athlete that refuses to take care of his god-given assets.  In stark contrast, I’ve been with providers almost as old as I (one even older) that clearly put a lot of effort into maintaining their longevity.  This is just a gentle rant, BTW.   I know it's not likely to change anything.

I used to see a provider that was in her mid-40's and a solid 8 in appearance with a trim figure.  Like you, I let a couple years pass before seeing her again and was shocked at the change in her appearance.  I actually thought I walked in the wrong room.

It was like all the skin damage caused by a lifetime of tanning showed up all at once and she had wrinkles everywhere from her face to her cleavage.  I actually didn't enjoy our session and couldn't even get turned on, despite her being friendly as ever, and still having a decent figure.

I had a GF the same way.  Up until she was 40, she was still dating guys (more like boy toys) in their late 20's.  But by the time she was 45, she couldn't even get dates with guys ten years older- it just all seemed to hit her at once, and it wasn't just fat, though she did gain some weight.  To use her words, her body "betrayed" her.

My old secretary (a woman) used to liken women's aging to a roller coaster slowly going up the first big hill.  It seems like you'll never get there, then all of a sudden you crest the hill and the free fall starts; after that, you're just hanging on for the ride.

Of course, if you work really hard, like some providers do, you can slow things down for quite a few years.  It may not be news that some of the ladies here are much older than they admit to and successfully manage to add years to their working life with good exercise and diet habits.

But you're always fighting nature, and nature eventually wins. When that time comes, the picture updates on the websites are few and far between.

but I was smaller and a curvy woman vs BBW ... but things in my personal life just made me slip... for a LONG time


I see how it can happen and you do not even realize it has happened



Now I am MENTALLY ready to get back to the way I was and thinner... but it took years for it to be RIGHT for ME

After all it's no secret that many of the providers here are "past their prime" to put it nicely.

Some women are born with good genes and a strong work ethic and some are not. I really do wish that some of the women that don't would at least buy mirrors, when Mother Nature and Father Time gang up on you, the more clothes the better. lol

yes it sucks, but lots of things in life suck.

but as a result of "equal rights" women are starting to become wealthy in their own right, and pretty soon "dirty old women" paying for boytoys will be as common as the hobby. Of course  it already exists on a small scale, but as more and more women become wealthy and unabashed about their sexuality, I predict it will become more and more commonplace.

I guess as long as a provider is able to do the job, have fun with it, and can attract hobbyists to pay for it, she has a viable business.  There is a following in the hobby for most any size, shape, age, fetish, orientation, etc.  If the provider is willing to see different types of hobbyists that are drawn to who she has become rather than who she sees herself as (or was...), she will be fine.  

I have had some similar experiences to those you describe above. In one instance, I met with a provider who is probably in her late 40's--I had originally met her when she turned 40 and have seen her a few times over the years.  This last time I noticed that, while her skin was still smooth and supple, she had gained a several pounds.  She complained that some of her more recent reviews commented on her being heavier than expected-one even referring to her as bbw.  She complained that guys were just being cruel, but she did admit that she just couldn't motivate to work out regularly.  This, in itself, was not a problem for me.  Unfortunately, age (as it pretty much always does) had also finally robbed her of her flexibility and stamina as well.  The session was not nearly as fun as in past times spent together.  She simply couldn't keep up. I won't repeat.  

Ultimately, nature is always going to win the fight.  All one can do is postpone the decline through healthy living.  Good genes help, too.  That said, wouldn’t it seem logical to expect that a provider who is hoping for a long run in the business would have to recognize that the older one gets, the harder one needs to work at keeping one’s youth?  My former ATF above gets most of her personal household income from providing.  She still sees herself as the energetic milf who 30 year olds might lust after.  When I first saw her years ago, she could have passed for 30 or 31.  She no longer can.  One would think that, given her circumstances, she would be treating her body like the temple it should be.  It is the most important asset she has in supporting herself, and she should have been taking better care of it.

BTW, she also has outdated pictures on her site…

Women are expected to look girlish for as long as possible, especially in this profession.  But by 40 their hormones are starting to betray them.  The lines grow deeper, the skin gets coarse.  And men start pining for a newer model.
Men, OTOH, often improve with age.  Lines "look good" on them.  They look "craggy" while older women look "haggy."  Like all double standards, it sucks.  But it exists nonetheless.
That's why god invented plastic surgery.

I just turned 55 yesterday. But I have been active, athletic all of my life. I also have a high metabolism. I can't stand dry skin so I am always taking care of my skin. Even though I am 55 I feel like I am 20 and therefore I want to look it....to a point. I am lucky to have gorgeous hair. I stopped tanning the last 4 years but none of my friends seem to be disappointed. I can put my legs behind my head and run a 10K ...not at the same time. If I put on a few LBS..I see fat. You would see a slim size 2. I lie about my weight. i am 5'5" and weigh 131. I feel that if I put 131, guys would think that now I am heavier than my pics. 125 really means 145 in this biz..in most cases. Pictures don't lie. I get my best workouts walking the trails with my dogs and squatting and spinning with a gentleman.
I think as women get older it is harder for them to keep weight off. Gravity takes over. Some of us were born with special genes and I am grateful. I like myself a certain way, young at heart and body and I will do whatever I can to keep looking the way I feel.

add at least ten pounds to a body, which is why many of them work themselves to Twiggy thinness.

I'll turn 55 on the 12th, I'm still a BBW - and I miss providing. I didn't think I would, what with the nervousness and the screening and the advertising hassles, but still... I miss it.

Carolina you look fabulous! I wish I lived in or traveled to your part of the country! I agree with you - a little help from your genes, the ability to work out and eat well combined with a lot of attitude about not thinking you're old goes a long way to keeping you looking younger (I'm at least 20 years younger in my mind than in my actual years, which is close to you). One of my ATFs is a gorgeous 52 year old who easily matches some of my youngest friends in the looks department. Keep on living life as young as you think you are!
