That said, I used it when I went to Lima a few years ago and came up with nothing. There's also a post in the link I've attached that doesn't rave about Peru and recommends Colombia. I would only add Costa Rica.

Otherwise, great food scene and history with machu pichu. Economy seems to be thriving with these new high rise luxury building in the city center.  

P.s. Crazy the price of food here. Bought 2 large pies (were pretty good) in Miraflores for 60 soles which is basically $20 US (bananas!) meanwhile back in NYC $65 for same pizzas.

At the end of a pier in the Pacific at the base of the cliff below Miraflores. Not the ultimate best Lima food but very, very good with classic service and the best location.

It’s more akin to NY thin crust.  No idea about the milk but rated tops by a lot of critics. Google “slice Miraflores pizza” or they have an insta “pizzeria_slices”. tastes, looks and feels just like Vezzo’s in Murray hill/  Tappo in Chelsea.  

100% delicious and $20 for 2 large pies!!!
