You on the other hand have forgotten the golden rule.  If you cannot say something nice, just shut up.  

Why would you attack another poster for no reason other than malice?  I repeat... SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

We should all try to remember to delete and ignore trolls. Sometimes we get caught up in their drama.. or we just get sick of the bad attitude.. Thanks for standing up for others...

but I thought it had some relevance.  You don't see the word debauchery all that much, for example.

And I can't argue with the old part of what you say, but do consider that you are either old or temporarily young.

As for out of touch, I have to say you make a point there too.  With the kids grown up and out of the house, I don't feel like listening to the newest music and watching all the new TV shows, etc.

Still, thanks for the feedback.  I'll look out for better articles to post.

This is just the old risk compensation principle, like how a study found that when bicyclists wear helmets then motorists are 30% more likely to infringe on safe distance between car and bicycle, and the bicyclist is more likely to take stupid risks (BTW most of the more rigorous studies show no benefit to helmets whatever).  The religious right has long contended that condom use encourages risky sex.  Nothing new here.
