on the National Geographic channel. I'm very interested how they portray it. I'll admit I've been quite lucky and had great experiences with women who didn't seem to mind (sometimes even enjoyed) their chosen profession. I think they'll try to make the show all about sex slaves.

the subtitle is the "gritty side of the escort business" which would make me think it's all about the ladies in desperate straights in general. My question to providers is what percentage do you think do this because they like to and like it vs. those that hate it and have no choice. Since I stay with hi rates ladies I may have a skewed viewpoint of the ladies than others.

Amanda Brooks is saying as it is.

Will take centuries for the American Puritanical’s to understand what is going on. They will be in denial for a very long time.

By painting a picture of drug addicted,  pimp abused child abductees the puritans and the sexless wives can convince themselves only the most vile and debased humans would do this sort of thing and suburban daddies can rest assured their little girls would never fall prey to this consummate evil. Yawn.

Of the majority of girls. There are those out there in a bad situation, but goodness does it get old seeing the same thing every time.

My favorite part was when they were talking to a cop who was specifically assigned to girls who were street walking/being trafficked/under aged. His answer? "At least 90% of them are like that. Very, very few aren't". Oh really? Tell me more about how your highly specific line of work represents even a fraction of the girls involved in the sex industry. Ignorant twat *rolls eyes*

I do like that they did TRY to go from the higher end internet escort angle.. but, of course it ended in scare tactics.

Good way to kill some time though, lol.

How 'bout the gritty underside of working at WalMart, where a hell of a lot of young desperate women (many unwed mothers or teen runaways) slave at dead-end jobs they find debasing and defiling until they burn out and are cast aside.  Why not focus on the drug addicts and educationally-challenged who are taken advantage of by a multinational corporation?

What, not sexy enough?
