What is it in regards to  web sites  that you might look  for? If this applies at all. If you are looking at equally appealing ladies what in the web site isn’t self would make the difference. I ask bc I am researching  paid web sites and would really like your opinions.

Of course, guys will go right to your photos. For pics, VARIETY is key. I like when several distinct scenes and looks are presented. For example, a few pics looking like a hot secretary, at the bathtub, etc. Mix it up even more by showing a variety of expressions that capture your personality - laughing, sultry, submissive. By including all of those variations of scene and expression, guys will get a better idea of who you are, and you'll increase the odds that you'll match someone's fantasy; for example, I love a hot secretary w/ glasses.

I could care less about the fancy frills.

Not the kind that are way over-posed, where the lady is trying to look sexy, but instead, looks like she is in pain. Face it, she probably is because of all the posing in unnatural positions. Make the pictures classy, and leave a little bit to my imagination.

As mentioned, put up a nice "About Me" page. Let us know some of your interests, and a little about your personality. That's very important to a lot of us.

The more you write the better feel I get for your personality.

while making sure that your contact form gets you all the info you feel that you need, do not make too many of the fields mandatory. There should be enough fields for a gent to give you the information he things you might wish, including a comment field so that he can tell you a bit about himself. But a contact page is a pain to use when most every field is mandatory. And it's nice when there is clear feedback from the website when the page has been successfully submitted.

A calendar that is programmed to give an idea of your general availability is nice too.

from a website perspective, to be attractive (not to be confused with being attracted to the lady herself)

- No 'cookie-cutter' design.
- Use of lighter colors, like pinks and pastels.
- Language appropriate to the financial demographic it is aimed towards.
- Pictures- A bad photo can be as much of a detractant as a good photo has appeal. Make them large enough, with decent resolution.
- If you are going to show your face, seeing a real smile is a definite turn-on. I never understood this with many adult sites with glamour pics. Smiles are attractive ladies! They convey so much. I know the photographer maybe telling you to look 'sultry' or 'come hither', but those looks are hard to actually pull off. I've yet to see a shot where I thought "That looks bad because she is smiling".

- Mke it clear what city you are located in. Honeestly, I have seen some sites where there was no mention of where she was. And if there is no phone number to try and see where the area code is, if it weren't for TER I would have no idea where she was located.

- Calendars - If you are going to have them, make sure you keep them up. I saw a few sites this past month that still had August and September showing. No November. Makes it look like you fell off the earth, or abandoned the site.  Also, it seems some ladies leave a day blank and it means they are available, and others leave it blank meaning they are not. So, I would recommend always having text in each day saying available or not. I can imagine men who are looking for something a few days out just move on if it is not clear.

- Having links to other providers on TER on your site to me is a plus. It means you are 'connected in' and there is maybe less of a risk on my part in contacting you.

- I prefer html over flash. Simpler to view and often less busy. I think creativity in what you write is more important than how many different ways a page can load, or how many different moving parts can be put on a page.

- Pic a nice font. Some really nice feminine ones out there. Makes the page seem less cold.

None of the above is meant to criticize any website in particular. Just sharing the things that stand out to me.

Make sure your text can be read.  I don't have the greatest eyesight anymore and some of the text and background color combinations are hard to read.

It's been covered before, but clear photos that show your body shape.  They don't have to be nude, but we also don't need 15 photos of your ass even though it's probably a great ass.  I assume if you're not showing us what you look like that you are hiding something and I move on.

I agree with using HTML.  Much easier.

Having been using the web for long enough, I've seen plenty of website that are visually great, horrible, and everything in between. I tend to tune that out unless it is blatantly painful. One of the main differences between them is simply the amount of money spent, which I don't care about.

What money can't buy is more important in this circumstance. I don't care about a lady's marketing budget, but about her. So I want to get a sense of her. Does her personality shine through? Does she care enough about how she presents herself to proofread the pages? Does anything stand out as creative or interesting? I actually read most of the text before looking at the pictures.

There are very simple web pages with sparse graphics that can have sexuality and passion streaming out of the screen at me through force of personality. Others are super glamorous billboards that come across as vacuous. Of course, the best ones have both: personality and great visuals.

I care about what women look like, but the attraction that keeps me going back for more than one visit could be generated with my eyes closed and her articulately telling me about herself and her take on life. Merely hot can be on the outside, but really sexy has to include her brain.

I don't get it. Either they don't want someone that knows them to see what they do. Or someone told them it was sexy and mysterious. I mean, you see their TER reviews, and for the most part the hobbyists say they look better than their pix. What's with that? But I agree, nice soft colors, text that doesn't scream at you, or you have difficulty reading in the firstplace, no cookie cutter websites, and the ability to read and send a little personal information to make the future date more comfortable and enjoyable for both parties. Just an idea....

I hate to click on a thumbnail and the picture displays just slightly larger than the thumbnail.

For some of us reason to blur the face is very simple ... family and 9-5 life.  Last thing I would ever want is someone I know from work to come accross my webpage and see my topless pic

I look for lots of meaningful words on a site. I want to know in writing what the provider will provide in terms of time place and rate. I want to know the provider's rules and regulations.

...use spell check.  I get turned off immediately when a website has a bunch of misspelling in it.  It gives me the impression that the provider either flunked out of middle school or that she just doesn't care - neither of which are desireable traits.

Cut out the music. For most of us this clandestine activity and the last thing we want to do is call attention with music.

HTML over flash definitely. Make sure site loads fast. Nothing worse than sitting there waiting for the site to load. 20 seconds seem like 20 minutes and most people will navigate away. If you are getting your site developed by someone else, make sure it WW2 compliant. If you are developing your own do the same. Sites will load faster and will be compatible with more browsers. All MS tools today are WW2 compatible so, not big problem. Colors, colors, pink background with yellow fonts is hard to read.

Absolutely no reason to post tasteless photo's (you know what I mean) unless you are going after clientele other than those frequent TER. In that case you maybe advertising in the wrong place any way.
