I can't be sure if I avoided a ripoff, a sting or what? You tell me. I will give you the facts without any attempt to flame or judge. Again, I AM NOT calling her a ROB at this point, just asking what you folks think.
I had seen this provider's ad at CityVibe and ErosGuide and felt she looked really hot. I had also seen someone pushing her a bit on the message board, but no reviews yet. I had previously attempted to contact her via email, but apparently they had the wrong email in the ad.
I sent an email asking her to call me, but instead she responds via email asking when I want to see her. We go back and forth deciding on incall at a motel tonite near where I live. Then I ask her again to call me because I am getting tired of waiting a 15-30 minutes for the email response. About 20 minutes I get three separate phone calls with no one on the line. Then it rings a fourth time and when I answer, it's actually her on the line. I've heard cell phones have this problem sometimes. She seems a little out of it, distant, only interested in picking a time. There was no mention of price until I asked directly. She says her NORMAL fee is $250. Remembering a special deal mentioned on the message board and her emphasis of NORMAL, I asked if there was a special this week. She made some awkward noises for a while and eventually seemed to remember there was a special. "What IS the special?" $150. Considering how awkward she seemed to be on the phone, I decided it best to discuss specifics and make a decision when I met her.
We agree on where and when to meet. I will call her supposedly toll-free number from a payphone when I get there, supposedly she will tell me what room she is in. I went to the motel and had a hell of time getting the payphones to work. Frankly, I think it's just these crappy no-name payphones we put up with. So I go home (which isn't far away) and call from there. Turns out I have to leave a message for her with her service to call me back anyway. So how would I have gotten in at the Motel? She calls back and tells me to come back -- she will meet me in the parking lot. I drive back. I wander around for a minute, don't see her, then eventually spot her on the lobby. We wander through the parking lot and she asks if I have the money. I said yes, but I felt too uncomfortable paying in the parking lot. She said she understood and so we went to the stairwell. I asked her about this special she had mentioned on the phone. "Oh, that's just a quickie thing..." as if it wasn't really available anyway. Sounds like a bit of a bait and switch on the price. I am starting to feel really uncomfortable with this. She says (for the second time) that the agency has a policy of getting the fee BEFORE they go to the room. I tell her I have never experienced a policy like that, or even heard anyone talk about that on a message board. I am starting to think this could easily turn into a ROB situation. All she has to do is take the money and walk away or lock me out of the room if she has one. I can't get the money back without grabbing her, risking arrest, a scene, etc. I am starting to wonder if maybe she doesn't have a room there at all. (Later, on the way home, I realized that she must have because she had a key card that got us into the stairway.) She keeps insisting that it's a policy to avoid ripoffs, getting beaten up, etc. I take out the money and SHOW it to her, hold it in my hand, tell her I have to know that she actually has a room there before I can hand her any cash. I also needed to discuss what I was getting for that money and I wasn't about discuss that stuff in a stairwell! She says forget it, and I have to tell you, with all the crap I'd encoutered in this episode, it really felt like a relief! She was cute, but the attitude was not warm or sexy, just cool and business-like. I just walked away.
It Didn't cost me a dime. Oddly, she didn't insist on a cancellation fee. The sign that it wasn't a sting is how clumsy everything was with her. She never tried to discuss sex for money. Vice cops just aren't that slow and disorganized. But I have never heard of paying outside in a parking lot UNLESS it was a ROB. Even streetwalkers wait till you get to the room, right? And what would she have done in an outcall situation? Make me pay before she enters my home?
One last point: I got an email afterwards that was apparently from her agency. It was apologizing and claiming it was a necessary policy. Of course, that could mean that they just want a second chance at ripping me off.
What so you think?
