I'd guess being hosted offshore only provides a minimal amount of protection if the actual business is in and can be traced to the USA.

They don't want the liability at all it seems like. The easier solution for them is taking their money and running as opposed to dealing with whatever problems this obnoxious bill can cause. Yes they are based outside the U.S. but the issue is they are catering to providers here they don't want the problems.

Don't know what happened but I tried to make a new post yesterday about an answer I got from NS, but I don't see it, so maybe this one will work. I emailed them as to what happened and this is the reply: "The shut down is just temporary while we change a few items on the site." So maybe all is not lost after all. It made me feel better about the situation! =)

Yeah the providers there weren't very female friendly and often downright hostile and cunty. I wound up mostly sharing intel with fellow mongers and not pursuing any providers there. Being a mostly NorCal site it really wasn't set up for us in SoCal anyway, so for me it's no big loss.

Been telling all to just create another website such as a freelance photographer, freelance artist/writer of some kind and notify clients, post it everywhere you can now, pay for the ads now, mention for them to keep your "new career website" and sign up for photography shoots in your city!   That's what can work for a while I'm sure, unless they catch on to those.   I see girls on twitter posting "event planner" catering, personal trainer, motivational speaker, Reiki healer! etc.

P411 is not down. They are just not accepting u.s. providers, i contacted customer service they said its because review sites are down and they cannot verify us.

As of 8 pm Arizona time P411 is work fine for me. Getting alerts, notifications and can log in see messages and profiles fine. Who knows tomorrow, but works for now.
