Don't forget that waist-to-hip ratio (WHR)

"is a significant measure of female attractiveness. Women with a 0.7 WHR are usually rated as more attractive by men from Indo-European cultures. Beauty icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Salma Hayek and Sophia Loren typically have ratios close to 0.6, even though they have different weights and heights. In other cultures, preferences appear to vary according to some studies, ranging from 0.6 in parts of South America and Africa, to 0.8 or 0.9 in China, and divergent preferences based on ethnicity, rather than nationality, have also been noted. It appears that men are more influenced by female waist-size than hip-size ..."

Personally, I like to explore the contact angle and ratio of her hips to my waist while she's leaning forward in CG.

Im not sure about the shorter ladies, but I am 5'10" and none of the ladies in my height/weight range look like me...but then, they dont compare to each other either.  Some look incredibly thin, while others look currrvy!  I do know that at my height, weight has a lot of places and ways to distribute.

I think that a system that went by measurements like the OP asked would be even more accurate and very interesting to see....height/weight alone doesnt really tell you much about how a woman is shaped.

If I can get her height and weight, then I can estimate her BMI. That tells me 90% of what I need to know.

FYI: I've seen ladies pictures, and am still surprised some times because I forget to factor in her height (seem petite from their pics, and you end up with a tall lady).

bmi is a fucking joke. it doesnt care if the weight comes from fucking fat or muschle

That's why they create height, photo accuracy, and body composition such as baby fat. And, the hobbyist makes the conclusion base on those evidence.

Its a good suggestion, but honesty, most men don't even know their own waist size, let alone knowing a women's bust, waist, and hip size.
