I do & feel it’s a valuable tool to utilize. I enjoy the ability to read all the juicy details on fantasy reviews. You can receive & reply to private messages. You can access the whitelist. I am interested in a poll of how many providers & hobbyists actually pay for VIP. I feel the numbers maybe low. I know that people who write 2 reviews get free VIP it’s a good incentive. Anything I’m missing? Smile for me! Xoxo

I may be off, (or just getting older and forget things, LOL) but I seem to recall paying for an annual membership when they run a deal, I think every so often?

To those that ONLY get free days from "correcting errors", that's a lot of reviewing profiles.....  get a real job or life.... LOL

Writing reviews for free days is fine (to a point), but the problem with that, is that the "fake" reviews don't help anyone.  Maybe it should only be a pay site to get a log in, and then one would earn actual credits towards free membership days.

One thing about cheapskates, they don't pay for squat and think everything in life is free and it's "owed" to them.

You can write problem reports and receive free VIP that way. But I agree it is a valuable tool.

because I was putting my reviews on another website that was local to SoCal, but they closed, so I started reviewing here in 2015.  The review days have kept accumulating, so I will most likely still be a VIP when I'm dead because I will continue to review, but at a slower pace as I get older.

One review will get you free VIP, but it takes two to cover a month.   I disagree that the numbers who pay are low.  Providers have told me that only about ten-fifteen percent of their customers write reviews, so it means if non-reviewers want to READ reviews, they must pay for VIP.

I believe the numbers are low for providers who pay for VIP. I used to use p411 long ago as verification until a gentleman told me during a session that he uses his buddies P411 account to book dates. I know the majority of my dates, do not write reviews they only use TER to verify providers. How do we get a poll to see how many members pay for VIP?

reflection of the membership as a whole because only those that participate on the boards are likely to see it, and there are even fewer posters than there are active reviewers.

Even though some of us take a "community" approach to this hobby, it's really more of an individual, rather than team, sport.  Many guys buy VIP to read reviews and select providers to see and have no interest in sharing their own experiences by way of reviews or making friends with other hobbyists, especially the married men leading a double life.

I've paid for TER for 10+ years. Best money I spend on the hobby, as by seeing only ladies with many positive TER reviews I virtually eliminate the chance of getting busted, robbed, or worse. Doesn't always guarantee great service because chemistry plays a big factor, but I rarely walk into a session where the provider doesn't resemble the characteristics of her TER profile and where the listed services aren't provided.
.
I don't post as many reviews as others. Generally I only review where the experience was great or horrible, or where the provider hasn't been reviewed by anyone for a while.

I ONLY get free days from "correcting errors" but I don't do "a lot of reviewing profiles."  I run across them when I'm searching the profiles for providers or looking at the ad boards or the Photo Board.  Fifteen Problem Reports = writing two reviews.  I can do 15 Problem Reports in less than 30 minutes.  How long does it take to write two reviews?  A helluva lot longer than 30 minutes.

Someone who writes two fake reviews in order to get a free month of VIP is an IDIOT.  First of all, he's running the risk of being banned by TER if caught.  Second, let's say it takes 3 hours to write 2 reviews.  That means he is "earning" $6.00 an hour based on the yearly membership fee, less than minimum wage.  Even at the monthly rate of $25.00, a guy writing two fake reviews is only "earning" $8.33 an hour.  What a waste of time and energy for such a small savings!!

Presumably, the Real Guy (RG) owner of the P411 will stop lending his credentials when it has negative repercussions on his P411 account and personal activity. Did you give RG an OK even though you saw Fake Guy (FG)? Did you leave a negative message or warning? "RG loaned his account to FG who made the date and showed up. Do not trust RG's OKs because they might not be about him. Be careful."
.
I mean, how did or how WOULD you deal with it in the future?
.
If RG _and_ FG both provided generous and great companionship and if FG had kept his mouth shut, then RG's OKs and comments about him (the composite of RG and FG) would still be reliable and positive.
.
IF there was some kind of problem and it got traced back to RG I'd bet that RG would roll on FG quickly. "Wait, wait!!!! Uncuff me!! It wasn't me. I have an alibi!! I loaned my P411 account to my buddy, FG. Here's his name and address."

Its worth it even after being out of the market for a while. Fake reviews can make TER worthless and I would love to see improvement in that area. For me I don't want to waste a opportunity on a overrated provider. Reviews help eliminate this.

a guy sharing his P411 account, the account is terminated. Problem solved.

If no one writes reviews, there is nothing there to verify providers. I don't see where non-reviewers help anyone but themselves.

Similarly, providers with no reviews are not verifiable. By that I mean that while a client may be able to determine that a provider is probably not LE, one can not verify the safety of the provider or the quality of her services. A not insignificant number of providers have, over the past few years, placed themselves into a pool of complete unknowns - indistinguishable from even scammers - by eschewing reviews. Now, those same providers complain when clients will not send them RWI for screening or deposits; it's at least in part because they threw away their own verifiable and hard-earned reputations IMO.

Apologies for going on a bit of a tangent here.

are a must for me.  They are the first two things I look for; if the provider doesn’t have both then I immediately move on.

I only really see escorts in Las Vegas and have about five great gals that I see.   I’d like to mix things up a bit but there just aren’t too many MILFs left in Vegas that have reviews, much less great reviews, that I haven’t seen.

I firmly believe that the providers that had good reviews but left in a huff, during the mass exodus from a few years ago, have done themselves a disservice. If a provider consistently provides great service what is she afraid of?  Sure, they’ll get the occasional “spite review” from a client who has some kind of axe to grind but those reviews are easy to spot.

Hell yeah I pay.  Rating numbers matter to me, somewhat, but I’m much more interested in seeing the services that they provide and reading the comments in the review.  I pay for TER about a month before I travel to Las Vegas to read reviews.  If I couldn't pay to read about services and reviews here on TER I’d only stick with the gals that I’ve already seen.  FWIW, I’ve NEVER been burned by a provider who had good reviews here on TER, with the exception of one terrible session with a porn star in Vegas who was late, drunk and drugged up off her ass and didn’t provide most of the services that were in her profile here on TER.

I don’t mind paying for TER at all and it is indispensable when I’m searching for a new provider.  No reason to be penny wise and pound foolish.

What I don't understand is the additional time given to my membership, when I report issues with provider profiles and stuff like that.   I didn't pay for the longest time but I found I enjoyed reading the reviews too much and wasn't posting tons of reviews to earn membership.   So, I bit the bullet and coughed up the duckets.   :)

Since you asked.  I find TER to be worthwhile when I am vetting a new provider and since I seldom review, I have been a paying client for more than 20 years.  As a side note, I find that giving VIP days for reviews leads to some very suspect submissions that make it through a seemingly less than rigorous review process.  It takes a bit more effort sometimes to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Interesting!  I learned my "factoid" for the day!  :)   So, I had never heard "ducats" before so I looked it up.  It seems to be a European "thing". :)    On a somewhat-but-no-so related front, I had a discussion with a companion about the "Sabbath".  I referred to it as being Sunday and she corrected me that it referred to "Saturday".

In any event, thanks for the info.   :)

It's true the original meaning of "Sabbath" was Saturday because the word is derived from the Hebrew word, "Shabbat." But Christians have for a couple of thousand years also called Sunday The Sabbath. So it really depends on who's talking.

sab·bath
noun
1.
a day of religious observance and abstinence from work, kept by Jewish people from Friday evening to Saturday evening, and by most Christians on Sunday.

It's kind of a stamp of approval that you're okay.  Providers can decide on their own to whitelist you but usually the client asks to be whitelisted.  Often, providers won't whitelist you after only one visit.

In your case, the providers you've seen cannot whitelist you.  As is so often the case with Asian agency providers, they have not "claimed their profile."  If they don't contact TER to ask that their usernames be linked to their reviews, they cannot whitelist you.

to a provider.  I tried doing that on another review site years ago and found that, in some cases, I got blowback from a provider who did not appreciate the level of honesty in my review.  Staying anonymous with providers allows me to write the good, the bad and the ugly about a session without worrying about reprisals or blacklisting from a provider who did not like my review.  It provides peace of mind.  Accordingly, I have only received one whitelisting, which was fake, and had it removed because I did not see the provider. If they don't know your handle, they cannot whitelist you.

Once you see a provider (with TER acct) ....
Simply ask her if she will "Whitelist" you. I have had TER account many years however, I just recently started to really explore and use it.  I only this year became aware of  "Whitelisting" & gave my first "Whitelist" to hobbiest that was kind enough to give me my first review since my return as a provider, my previous reviews here 2012-2015. And those were limited.
My main/really only board I used for everything from ads, community, meet and greets and countless reviews is no longer.  I miss everyone and thing about that community.  Not sure what happened as when I retired 2014/15 it was still alive and well I come back 2022 and it's gone.
