I LOVE them, but I had no clue they were so "freaky" in Victorian England back then ..., but then again a Prince Albert piercing is supposed to be named after ... Prince Albert.

Nipple Rings?  Victorian England is when Lister introduced carbolic acid as a way to prevent infection from wounds and during surgeries.  It could have helped the movement if people didn't die from a nipple piercing

I remember finding an old newspaper from the 1890's. I remember reading about a 19 year old who died after having her tooth pulled ... From blood poisoning, another was about a guy who died after getting kick by a horse. The "good Ol days" sucked.
