Not sure what you mean by a "normal guy", but here is my experience.

I have found that taking Viagra has helped me get an erection and keep it during a session. I was able to go 3x in one session with its help. Not my usual But it takes a little tweaking to get the right dosage.

The dosage starts at 50mg. I found that the dosage that works best for me is 125mg. Could be height and weight related (6'2", 205).

But do not expect that when you take it you will get a raging hard-on immediately. The way it works is that it makes it easier for you to get hard and stay hard. After you ejaculate, the erection goes away. But if stimulated again, it is easier to get hard.

YMMV, but I have found that it is a great asset to this hobby.

Without being exactly sure how to define "normal"...I will go out on a limb an place myself in that category, since I currently never have a problem with obtaining an erection, and have only rarely had a problem in the past (when I was probably in my least physically fit / healthy state, before I came to understand that I had a physical ailment, since treated with meds).


Some time ago, after my occasional problem was fixed (the impotence was a symptom of a larger problem, which was addressed), I was very casually dating a woman who worked in the medical profession. I do also VAGUELY recall that after ejaculation I still had a mild erection...enough that if I had wanted to go on I could (something an EX GF and I used to do all the time). All this might not apply to you...I am in my late 30's, and I have a medical condition that you might not suffer from. I think the current medical line is that Viagra really does little to nothing for men who don't need it. If you are able to have and maintain an erection without it, the cost and the potential side effects (remember...some people have had strokes / heart attacks after taking Viagra...I wouldn't have even tried it if my partner in crime had not been a medical professional, right there to do whatever was necessary, should it have become necessary) probably outweigh any potential upside.

Premature? You can be ready for the 2nd attempt right away.  I would say the erection dies down slower than without.  The less hard you put your erection to work, the more likely it will be hard afterwards.  Whatever, you can attempt the 2nd one before your erection dies down and the drug effect went off.  It's easy to put your pennis to rest after ejeculation if you put you mind to it, i.e., don't look and don't think of something sexy.  But if you let you erection goes, it's not easy to get it up again without another dose after some rest.  IMHO.

Does the penis harden right away if person is aroused ?
Yes.  You have to be careful even if you go to pee.  One accidental touch at the right place and you will have difficulty going back to your desk.  Put a screw driver in your pocket hanging out is a good disguise.

you are aroused, you become erect. You lose that erection one of two ways; 1) you stop being aroused (mental), or 2) your body releases a chemical that causes the blood to be released from your erection (medical). This chemical is released for different reasons, one of them being ejaculation. Viagara blocks the release of this chemical. It primarily helps men with medical problems maintaining an erection and also helps keeping an erection after ejaculation (great for 2nd pops....or 3rds). Unfortunately, it don't do shit if you use blow.

Tested it myself today, and yes it gives me a mild headache.
What I've found out is that it doesn't do much except increase your stamina.  Did 2 pops in 2 hours pretty much non stop, wore the poor girl out, but we had a great time.

Now the downside.  Side effects vary among men, I understand.  In my own case, I get some sinus stuffiness which leads to relatively mild headaches when I'm at the 50 mg dosage.  Those headaches get worse when I douuble the dosage.  Advil normally takes care of that problem, but I therefore am careful before doubling.  Again, I consulted my doctor before doing this to make sure there were no blood pressure or similar kinds of problems, and fortunately, he gave me the green light.  But not everyone will be the same.  YMMV.  As far as other reported side effects -- such as seeing everything with a blue tint for a while -- I have not encountered such problems.

Bottom line -- Viagra was a life saver for me, but I recommend to everyone that they use it only under a physician's supervision.

I am a 55 year old and it works very well for me.  The only side effect that I have had is a blue tint on everything that lasts less than an hour.  I have heard others get headaches.

I'm 44 in decent shape and have always had a high sex drive - before the V-pill I was able to cum 2 to 3 times in a session lasting an hour or so, with my last erection being partially stiff. With V-50 mgs I can stay hard for several hours, recover in minutes and usually cum as many as 5 to 7 times...sometimes to the point where there is no more fluid.

I started using it as a failsafe. I ordered online 100mg. I usually break it into quarters. It does get me harder faster when aroused. There is no effect if not aroused. The downside for me is that it sometimes makes it harder to finish. Several times I felt sorry for the lady but it beats the alternative. The recovery time is quicker when I do finish. I don't always use it buts it's nice to have it available if there is any doubt. I never had any of the other side affects mentioned.
