Here's an example - I had a review UNapproved because I wrote the chick wore "fuck me stilettos" in the General section about her shoes.  Reason?

"Sex acts are not allowed in the general section".

I've had others disallowed for similarly idiotic reasons. IMO reviews should be approved automatically for hobbyists with 20+ good reviews.  Waiting and getting rejected for dumbass reasons is just frustrating and lousy service.

A lot of stupid Johns out there who don't understand discretion. You don't want to put the whole community at risk.  Some people put information like hotel name and even room number in the reviews.

I am glad someone is looking through them and approving/rejecting the reviews.

Reason?

"This description belongs in the "juicy details" area ".      I can cite other dumb examples.

I reiterate - long time top reviewers should get posts approved in Real Time!

doesn't mean they can't inadvertently expose some information that puts the lady and the community at risk.

It is best to have an extra pair or eyes look over it, even if it means a slight delay in getting them approved.

Bullshit.  I disagree. That crap doesn't happen with veteran long time reviewers. IF that happened, a provider or hobbyist could report is just like on the boards and the review would be pulled immediately.  Morons (mostly newbies unmoderated) post personal info and expose private stuff on boards fairly regularly.  The stuff gets pulled.  Top reviewers (20+ reviews) shouldn't have to wait 2- 3 days - real time approval makes sense, and would free up the "approvers" to spend more time with newbies & boards.

I was just giving you my take.. Even if it doesn't happen inadvertently, as you said, (with which I disagree, BTW) what is stopping some pissed off, nutcase, hobbyist from posting info about the lady even if it lasts there for few hours.

Those few hours are enough for LE to bust her. You think LE doesn't watch the boards?

Veterans with 20+ reviews should not have to wait in line for 2-3 day for someone with way less experience in this hobby than the "approver" to have their reviews go up.  Private info & hotel rooms etc. can be exposed on TER boards too.

Curly, Do you also propose waiting 2-3 full days for TER Board posts to go up and be approved????  Of course Not.  Same shit my friend.

of those clearing reviews.  I had one of mine briefly unapproved because her stage name is "Amanda Sweet and Petite."  They said I'd written a review about only one girl when there were actually two of them -- "Amanda Sweet" and "Petite."  Seriously.  In their parameters, the word "and" can only be used if you saw two providers, ex. "Betty Blow-job and Annie Anal."  Funny, huh?"

The boards have the same issues. Local Mods should be returned & that's a no brainer.  Not understanding local customs, the local players, the humor etc. But this thread is about reviews.

Why should veteran members have to wait 2-3 days for review approval, and get shoddy service in most cases? Real time approval is the answer for veteran members.

in the early (1980s) days of computers, where the computer would misinterpret some colloquialism and take it literally.

Now computers have come a long way, and such kinds of stories are rare.

It's kind of scary when the computers become smarter than the humans who program them.

Once again - I think having top members and veterans with many reviews having to wait 2-3 days for someone who doesn't hobby in the U.S., and English is a 2nd language to APPROVE a review is absurd.  I feel the same way about the boards.

Real Time is the way to go.  I'm on many sites like this one and NONE make members wait days for review approval. They get posted in real time.

Shit can be posted on TER boards too, but boards, you see, are meant to facilitate conversation . There is a lot of back and forth. So if boards are made so tightly controlled they will hamper communication.

Reviews, on the other hand, are more of a one way street.  So why not be a little strict and careful where you can, and be a little lenient where you can't. Back in the days, the boards had moderators and that was a good model, and TER should have continued with that..

It's funny that you consider 20+ reviews a top reviewer.
I would say 100+ because the minimum for the top 100 of all cities is 151.

Again, there's no benefit to a review that gets approved/posted instantly.

That is true re other sites.  I post reviews in other places that go up instantly.  I don't mind having reviews vetted first here, but if they're going to do it they should at least provide enough resources to do it in a timely way.  I think it's a good idea to have a system where someone who reaches the 20 review point be able to post a review instantly.  Perhaps those who agree should post their views on the Suggestion & Policy Board.

You've got a point but the problem here is that people have no idea how long it will take here, the process seems arbitrary and TER keeps people in the dark about it.  That results in annoyance on the part of reviewers that's needless.  Also, sometimes speed is beneficial, say, if a gal is touring and a quickly-posted review will help her business.  I know mini-reviews are possible, or even brief posts, but people just don't understand the policy.  The result, I'd say, is the system doesn't work well.

Until you mentioned the touring conundrum, I couldn't see what the big deal is about having your reviews post in real time.  Even so, I don't think it's unreasonable to have them moderated for the sake of everyone's safety and security as well the integrity of TER.  No matter how many reviews you have under your belt, mistakes get made, anger gets the best of people and if it's not held in check, we all suffer.

So Beenstrokin, what is the big deal?  I'm not being sarcastic, I'm really curious as to what difference it makes to you when your review posts.  2-3 days seems to be the average.

I agree that a language barrier is a definite problem. With the use of idioms and colloquialisms in reviews, using native reviewers should be a no-brainer.

provided it is Monday through Friday before Netherlands time lol. Reporting a review can take up to a damn WEEK before it is removed, and the damage has been done. If you want real time reviews and can't see the clear need for moderation, post them somewhere else. Maybe YOU would never take advantage of such a perk, but you're deluded to assume other vets would not. I have seen it countless times on boards that do not proofread the reviews, and yep, most were all by the vets. Why do you think that is? Well duh, because they use their so called bs status to get away with the shit thinking no one will catch it from them!

What I do find comical is why a 'hobbyist' ahem, gives a shit about when a review goes up. You're not the one making money off of the thing in the first place. If it is so you can hurry and get that VIP credit before it expires, gosh...I will loan you 25 bucks.
