When meeting with a young provider is there a good way to verify that they aren't "jail-bait"?  I have thought about asking to see their drivers license, they could cover their name, address, etc.  just show their picture and birthday.  Would that be a problem for most young providers?

If I have any doubts at all, I don't do the appointment.  In fact, for me, it would be a huge turn-off.

If you stay away from street walkers and Craig's List you will not have to worry about this. Most "very young" providers on Eros or other more legitimate sites are shaving a few years off of their age anyway.

They're on top of the age issue... as long as the woman who placed the ad is the one that you meet.  Of course, we all know to also check for reviews on Eros ads, as Eros does NOT confirm that the "providers" who advertise there are legit.

I am not convinced that places like Eros and Cityvibe *actually* verify age consistently.  They have a policy which they feel prevents them from getting sued.  There ways to get around it.

I think this is similar to the legal concept of meeting a 15 year old in a bar.  While it may be the bar's fault that the "child" entered...it doesn't exactly erase your own due diligence.  I'm not a legal expert though...where is one when you are in need?

Honestly, I don't think there's a good solution to this.  You may make yourself feel better by asking to check ID and having her cover up the vital portions.  However, I'd say it's at least somewhat common for a lady to deliberately "forget" her ID so that she doesn't have it on her at the time.  Maybe she locks it in the car so that it doesn't get accidentally found.  That, to be honest, is prudent.

although I gotta say... most if not ALL of the providers that I have been with look younger than they hint that they are... or at least they lead me to believe that so that I - an old dude - don't feel self conscious around them... and I thank them for that illusion as well!  ladies - gotta love em...

Don't ask!!  If you are concerned, don't go. So long as you're not using sites like CL, doubt it would be a problem.

I was curious once as I saw a well-reviewed lady who advertised as 19.  She looked very young.  But when I tried to "playfully" bring up the issue, she was offended and it nearly killed the session.

I also agree that there is no good solution.  Asking for the ID might help a gent feel more comfortable, I'd advise ANY gal not to show her ID if asked because of the stalkers and troublemakes...

However, Eros's policy of requiring ID to post the ad is about the best general guideline I could think of.

Edit to ad - this might be something to check with a lawyer and/or post on the legal board.  I can see so many potential problems, fake ID's, etc.

The guy refused to see me because he thought I was 17.

Even my photo ID didn't convince him.

I've been told "you look too young" and "Are you sure you're 24?"

What p's me off is when clients accuse me of being younger than I say. I can't help that I look younger than my age (runs in the family).

I carry my ID all the time, just in case someone asks to see it.

If you're in doubt, ask her for ID. If she doesn't  show it, then walk away.

a lady who is under age for drinking but at least 18?  If she gets stopped by LE on her way to the next appointment, ...
