using bitcoin is both an invitation for an LE investigation and being defrauded
The only value in "bitcoins" is if other accept them - however, unlike cash, savy mathematiical computer whizes can manufacture them - how long do you think it will be before this becomes so widespread that thay all become worthless?
And even if not worthless, the money laundering agencies view them as a tool of drug smugglers, others engaged in tax evasion and other nefarious stuff, so they are really focusing in on those who trade in them - might be ok if you only use it for a few small purchases, but not wise to run a significant amount via bitcoin or use bitcoin as a bank to store a large amou tIt's worth looking into, accepting bitcoin but it would be a transaction like a deposit and we know how some of the guys feel about that.... I know nothing about how it all works though, so I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time and certainly won't be the last.
