That  means:  Your mileage may vary, and refers to situations where a gal might do something with one guy (greek, swallow, etc.) that she may not do with you depending on circumstances (size of dick, hygiene, etc.

...there are hobby acronyms (e.g., BCD - behind closed doors, FIV - finger in vagina, CG - cowgirl, etc.) and TER acronyms like BSU (biggest suck up), WK (white knight), HDH (high-dollar hottie), and SPOTY (Stupid Post of the Year), etc.  The TER acronyms don't have anything to do with BCD activities -- they're shorthand for the crazy communications that transpire on this board.

Anyway, don't despair.  When I first started, I couldn't figure out half what was being said.  Now, after six years, I think I get about 75% of it, lol.....

I was under the impression that SPOTY stands for Stupidest PostER Of The Year.   A subtle but important distinction since the person who wins the coveted SPOTY award bears a personal honor that Don would say is Really Huge & Tremendous.

It, along with BSU are the two most highly contested awards on TER, much harder to win than MS TER which is a monthly award. To win a SPOTY or BSU award you have to have a board presence all year, many of the front runners seem to fade away and lose eligibility before the actual voting takes place.

and yes TER does have it's very own set of acronyms, usually they can be figured out by the context they are used in, but some of them are virtually impossible to figure out without knowing the back story they are based on like TTT is TSTTTTT (Talks To Trees is Too Stupid To Talk To Tobi Teliford) which was a take off of another term I coined here TSTTT (Too Stupid To Talk To) or another one coined by a friend of mine here who is quite proud of FYATWYRIO (Fuck You And The Whore You Rode In On) I don't think anyone is going to figure either of those two out for themselves without a little help. lol
