I am still madder than hell. I used to see a specific provider at least twice a month but then she suddenly disappeared five or six months ago. Her telephone numbers were disconnected and her ads also stopped running.

Anyway, I decided to call her number last week and I was surprised when she answered. We talked a moment and then I ask her what was going on. She told me that a guy had gone berserk on her and beat her up so badly that she had to go to the hospital. When she got out of the hospital, she had to live with relatives for several months while she continued to recover.

Like many of you who see each other regularly, this lady and I have a relationship that goes beyond just the hobby. And as nice a person as she is, I don't understand how anyone could do such a thing.

At the moment, it is fortunate that I don't know who this guy is or where he lives because I am reasonably sure I would go and solve some problems because I am madder than hell!!!!

not all men are as much of a gentleman as you are.

There are some dangerous men out there who continue to ACTIVELY target providers in certain regions. They get off on getting off and beating the girls up or trying worse. Some are on the girls' radar in these regions and some aren't.

This is part of the reason why we try to get enough info to feel safe. You never know WHAT can go on with someone.

My heart goes out to this girl and to you for discovering the nasty side of this business.

I feel for your provider. It's hard to get over something like that.  Those providers like myself that have been around a long time have at one time or another gotten into dangerous situations. It's almost like you know you're going to have a turn come up sometime. No matter how many precautions we take, no matter how careful we are. So when some fellows bitch and moan about the screen process, you need to understand where are mind set is. It's on staying alive. Good luck to your special friend. The body always heals, hopefuly the mind will follow.

If it were decriminalized, ladies could get some above board protection from scum like this. As it is, indys are very limited in their options, one of them being retaliation-- which might entail another real crime.

Even with the Internet, it's still a hard and dangerous profession.

my heart goes out to her! This can be a very tough business, as they think we are easy targets for crime. We have to go through a lot to provide pleasure to those who need it.

Meow Baby, is correct, the longer you stay in the business, the bigger chances that you take! I have been VERY fortunate and I count my blessings every day!

Ladies, be safe and screen the hell out of them! ALWAYS remember, not all money is good money! (advice from an old pro)

Kelly

Tell your friend, if she needs a shoulder to lean on, to send me an email. I'm always willing to help out a sister, in need :)

A woman, escort or otherwise, who finds herself a victim of such nauseating violence should be able to reach out to a member of LE and report a crime without fear of reprisal for her livlihood.  Felonious assault, attempted murder, etc. do trump misdemeanor naughtiness in the eyes of most reasonable people. Most LE depts. have women trained in dealing with such matters and will do the right thing.  Yes, at some pont there might be strong advice given to the healed woman along the lines of 'when you play with fire' (i.e it is a high-risk biz) but decent decisions can be and are made.

I feel doubley sorry for this poor woman.  Her assault was brutal enough but for her to think that she had no recourse is terrible.  Although it would be perhaps difficult, I honestly believe that she had options out there and that there are those who would help her.

I think these guys really believe that the woman won't go to LE to report him because she is afraid she'll get busted. In fact, I think they prey on this insecurity and some men with connections to the law or who are in high positions in govt./judicial jobs feel they can escape any finger pointing because of who they are vs. the word of a provider.

I've never been beaten up, but I did have to rely on my ability to talk myself out of a crazy situation a time or two in the past when you realize that someone's referral was more them dumping a crazy man on you than anything.

I suppose if I were to be attacked by a crazy person and couldn't talk my way out of anything, I'd go ghetto on them and just fight to the death at that point. Then I'd turn their sorry ass into the police for doing that to me. I couldn't live with myself if they did that to someone else and I didn't at least try to stop it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. It makes me sick to hear crap like that. If you ever wondered why providers ask for screening info there's your answer.

It's for their safety, and your entertainment. If they feel safe than your probably apt to have a more memorable time. I once failed a providers screening and felt slighted, but remained persistent and ultimately convinced her that I was harmless and to this day we laugh about the whole experience.

Keep it safe.

This is the fourth case I have heard of in the last few months.  Next time you guys are asked for references and screened...it's for the protection of the lady...so don't play games and give the info they need.
Advise from a guy who's been around...

Nothing can be developed because it then becomes criminal conspiracy. If there were more respect for providers, there would be more public support for protecting them. Police change once a woman has been brutally assaulted, I mean the sight of it forces sympathy and outrage, and the public would feel the same way. Prostitution charges are moot because there has been a REAL crime.

Up till then, though, her status is zero. If she puts a special agency on retainer in case of being beaten, raped, robbed or killed, it's then criminal conspiracy.

A good kick to either side of the knee, knife strike to the throat, and he's ready for the hospital. (However, it's not that easy in practice to make these maneuvers, and in real life, an attack happen very fast and is usually a matter of grappling).

But then the lady faces the trouble that she isn't beaten up, but the guy is, and it's her word against his...

Anybody know how police and prosecutors act in that situation?

I heard from a provider who got beat up in NYC by a lawyer after he tried to pass her counterfeit currency. She called for help but the cops ripped up the money and flushed it. The guy got off scott free because she wasn't in a position to press charges and the cops were in this guy's back pocket. We've all heard about the good ole boys club in LE and how tightly they stick together. A provider in this situation has a snowball's chance in hell of getting justice.

I have no doubt her story is true. The hobby attracts true perverts, the ones who get off beating up women. The only justice for a guy who lays a hand on a woman is to get the same back. May he get his ass kicked to kingdom come.

often the victims are only further traumatized by the legal system.  I'd definitely contact LE in the situation, though can understand why many ladies wouldn't.

I feel and know that I am just such a 'target'.. I am a niche provider.. A post op female.. While it is easy to 'deceive' and NOT TELL my status due to my near flawlessness, it inheritable increases the risk of 'bodily harm'.. Thus the reason I 'do the tell' about myself.. You know what you are getting and of course this pays off very well as I hit a 'niche'.. Functional Post-ops are rare... I only have seem one other in my area..
Not stupid to the inevitable,
I have had two bad sessions with the threat of violence. Not stupid to the inevitable, I keep things handy, out of sight for my protection...

I am going to see the lady today and discuss what options if any she may have.

This guy does need to be put away, but I am not sure this lady will have the courage to take a stand.

BTW - BC it is not a fake story. I like humor and play some jokes but this is not the type of event to use for that purpose. This has changed this ladies life. She has had to move her incall and also says she is afraid to advertise.

Depending on your locale, some (unfortunately not all) LE officials will be very helpful and responsive.  If she is uncomfortable going directly to LE, which is understandable, I'd suggest she first contact a local rape crisis or woman's shelter advocacy center.  They will understand her situation and can offer advice on how to deal with local LE.

Good luck, best wishes and yeah, I'd be madder than hell also.  Here's a start-

Imagine if this assault charge was filed and went to trial.  What tactic would the guy's lawyer's use?  They'd assassinate her character and say that she's a prostitute and can't be trusted.

Providers, by virtue of engaging in illegal activity are criminals.  Of course, we believe this is wrong, but it is the case.  As such, criminals are not taken seriously when they decide to use the legal system to pursue their claims.   Although technically, even criminals can make legal claims, it is felt that one should not break laws and then insist that others follow them.  I do not have such an absolutist view, but many in the legal system do and providers are cognizant of that.

Sorry to say but I don't think the ladies will get much help from the legal system here.

There should be people out there the a provider could turn to if she didn't feel safe going to LE. In a different world I may consider creating an organization to deal with this type of problem, probably with the use of guns and highly trained ex-military personnel.
Give this provider your support if nothing else.
