Look, I come to this website to escape the daily grind of work and politics.  I don't come here to argue about the candidates, the current administration, the war in Iraqi, governmental policies, etc.  I come here to converse with good looking women, get a chuckle, get a boner or to just relax.

There is enough crap going on out there in the real world concerning these matters already.

Do we really have to drag all that into a nice website like this?

Please folks, lets attempt to keep at least one small bit of space free for just fun and lust.  Whether we agree or disagree on politics, at least we all agree that being in the hobby is good.

How about a politic-free space on TER?

Just my opinion and this time I don't consider the possibility that it could be wrong.

Enough is enough.

You may want to think about developing a sense of respect and awareness for other people's opinions, thoughts, and needs, as human beings.

As you see here, the life of a  LOT of people have been affected by the current administration, and this particular bunch of Repiblicans.  This IS the reason whenever there is a slightest postings with political hint, we get a TON of postings.

People want to engage in these discussions, as it gives them an avenue to vent their feelings. As strange as it may sound, people here are more intelligent, fair and enlightened than other boards.

You need to learn to filter what you don't want to see. Also, you can get a VIP membership, and read the reviews.  I PROMISE you you will have fun reading them, and there is NOTHING political in any of the reviews!

Also, I want you to think about something.  This Iraqi war cost each household in the U.S., about $2,000!  How many people do you think in the slanted polls, would have favored this war, versus each household to have gotten a $2k tax relief?

On the last point-  perhaps the ladies will bust out the no nooky- rule as they want their share off that tax money!  Then A fine pickle would we be in -with a shout to my man Yoda-

Aren't we all joustin' and being fun here- have I ever threatened anyone?  No - we barb and tangle- no more.

And then we are off to the next learned discussion of fellatio and cunnilingus and the real fun-

Until Bribri or somesuch go fully postal- we can relax.  When  I hear of the first chat room killer- then I'll get worried.

What's a guy going to say? "I beat him up because we had a disagreement on a chatrrom where we share our thoughts on the oldest  profession?  Now there's a story the press will love...

Don't tell BriBri  or he'll do it just to get on the O'Reilly show!

Lo:  I, for one understand from where you are coming, BUT I also have to agree with those who contend that the higher intellectual discourse you are likely to find here is fertile territory for arguing with the loyal opposition; arguing, in the right spirit can and is fun.  Of course, I am nothing more than the human wading pool (as in shallow); I want to have a political disagreement with a strong woman and have her make me agree with her!

I agree with you Loarthan, im also tired of the political post's.
However i also feel that the TER boards should honor "FREE SPEACH".....So just do what i do...just ignore the political candidates posts and look for the fun sex post that are available.....
I hope TER lets everyone express their views just as long as they follow the guidelines that are listed.

Also, please notice what side responded.  Can't leave anything alone. Always have to make your point to bash the current administration.

As one who has responded directly to Loarthan in these forums in the past, I must say that this time, I agree with you.

I could go on and on, but hey, I haven't had my coffee yet.

I am not sure whether I will continue to post political and/or spiritual comments on this board.  I understand and respect the reasons that people would like this to end, as the tone gets pretty strange from time to time.  And it's not the point of the board to begin with.  

But I also find this board, whose membership is connected by our willingness to disregard a big cultural (not to mention, legal) taboo - and thus, I presume, able to think outside at least one box - a really interesting place to get a pulse of what, why and how we think as a country and how some consensus can be forged - or not forged.

But I guess it feels like intruding on those people who want to keep it focused on how big a dick we need to steal a provider's heart.  

So, for the time being, I am not going to add to the political conversations.  I guess that these issues seem so important to me (not my perspective, but the central issues) that if a significant portion think this isn't the place for it, then I will look to other places to engage in these conversations.

And - no with hard feelings toward those who want these topics to go away.

So I suggest that you figure out how to bypass the Political stuff that you'd rather not see.  Because I fully intend to continue posting on the "General Discussion" topics that interest me.

And, I might add that probably the biggest flaw that you individually have, is an unwillingness to consider the possibility thay you might be wrong.  One should always remain open to a thoughtful and truthful argument that might persuade them that they might be wrong about something.
