TER General Board
I am not sure whether I will continue to post political and/or spiritual comments on this board. I understand and respect the reasons that people would like this to end, as the tone gets pretty strange from time to time. And it's not the point of the board to begin with.
But I also find this board, whose membership is connected by our willingness to disregard a big cultural (not to mention, legal) taboo - and thus, I presume, able to think outside at least one box - a really interesting place to get a pulse of what, why and how we think as a country and how some consensus can be forged - or not forged.
But I guess it feels like intruding on those people who want to keep it focused on how big a dick we need to steal a provider's heart. 
So, for the time being, I am not going to add to the political conversations. I guess that these issues seem so important to me (not my perspective, but the central issues) that if a significant portion think this isn't the place for it, then I will look to other places to engage in these conversations.
And - no with hard feelings toward those who want these topics to go away.
Lo: I, for one understand from where you are coming, BUT I also have to agree with those who contend that the higher intellectual discourse you are likely to find here is fertile territory for arguing with the loyal opposition; arguing, in the right spirit can and is fun. Of course, I am nothing more than the human wading pool (as in shallow); I want to have a political disagreement with a strong woman and have her make me agree with her! 
I agree with you Loarthan, im also tired of the political post's.
However i also feel that the TER boards should honor "FREE SPEACH".....So just do what i do...just ignore the political candidates posts and look for the fun sex post that are available.....
I hope TER lets everyone express their views just as long as they follow the guidelines that are listed.
