There are lot's of first hand accounts all over the web written by folks who have "been there, done that".  Even some step by step instructions for those who are first time visitors.

you will need no advice ... just get a tuktuk driver to take you to Pat Pong and cruise around lol

All this is legal, or at least in the open, In Bangkok.

Watch for underage girls, and katoey's (lady-boys - look just like girls).

Use Google to find agencies, such as BKK.

Also, Apple was a well known DC provider who moved back to Thailand.
