...... cancelled pre arranged appointments with touring ladies. I see that so many ladies are cancelling their tours because of cancellations.
If you've cancelled, care to share why?

I have no intention of canceling, and she has indicated that she isn't canceling her tour on account of the recent difficulties.   My thoughts are that the primary reason for providers canceling tours is that they cannot afford the overhead if they don't have a base level of appointments they are reasonably confident will take place.  In cities such as mine (NYC), many hobbyists cancel after they have scheduled time, based not only on what my lady friends have told me, but also from the chatter here and elsewhere.  This has always been an issue for them, but will certainly get worse in the current environment.  Thus, it is likely, IMO, that we will see less touring over the near term, until the dust settles over the recent disruption caused by FOSTA/SESTA.    

Several out-of-state gals, some I haven't seen in years,  have contacted me to see if I would see them if they swing by my area.

 
I think it is a good aggressive tactic to take when marketing venues are becoming scarce.

but If you have already booked an appointment, you are already in their system and I don't see any reason to cancel an appointment that has already been made.

 
Personally, I don't use national agencies in the first place, my reasoning being if the city I am in is big enough to attract the likes of XO or some other agency/ies, it's big enough to have plenty of local talent who I would prefer to patronize.

and I have no plans on cancelling. I even have 3 more future dates already on the books with my favorite touring lady through September. I will continue seeing them as often as I can. I'm even driving about 2 hours to see one on her off month from my city.

I have a date pre-booked next week with an indie touring provider. We have been in contact over the past few weeks and  so far no plans to cancel by her or me.

...if many providers are forced to implement deposit requirements in order to continue to tour.  In an era where we can barely advertise and could lose our remaining ad venues at any moment, uncompensated cancellations will now be a risk that many simply cannot take financially.  The chances of filling an empty slot due to a cancellation are now slimmer than ever before, even if 24-48 hours notice is given.

I implemented an (optional) deposit policy in exchange for a pre-booking discount about a year ago, and it’s been working out great for both me and my clients I think.  Almost everyone has chosen to make the optional deposit.  Many have tipped me the discounted amount to equal my original rate.  I am not sure that my deposit policy can continue to be optional anymore in the wake of FOSTA/SESTA.  I will have to think hard about this, and I’m sure many providers will too.

I know some clients will always be unwilling to pay a deposit, but I think for many of us, touring with a lower volume of deposit-secured bookings is going to be more doable than touring with a higher volume of unsecured bookings.  Touring is expensive and unpredictable enough without the added gag on our advertising.  It seems now many of us will have no choice but to discontinue touring or require advance deposits.  I hope clients will be understanding about this even if they choose not to book providers who require a deposit.
