Trouble in Sugarland

Well ok, for those who read my Sugarbaby thread a few weeks ago, here's an update.  Warning: dudes, be prepared to pay for these high maintenance sugar babes.  I meet redhot SB4 & we drop her car off at a garage for a minor repair (i'm paying).  She gets in my car & I drive to a hotel.  On the drive over, she's texting furiously & is really angry at whoever's on the other end.   I ignore it at first, we go to hotel, strip down & fuck.  As we're lying in bed after the main event, she reaches for her cell and more furious texting follows (OMG).

I take her to her favorite restaurant.  She's sitting across from me, more texting.  I feel like a father taking his teenage daughter to lunch.  Our chubby waitress remembers me from last time, & we start a nice conversation.  SB4 is locked into her cell & George Clooney is obviously on the other end.  I'm already missing my ATF.

I try to be a gentleman: at the end of the day I pay for her car repair & give her weekly 'allowance'.  I'm only comforted by the fact that I'm kicking this spoiled brat to the curb.  When she texts me the next week, I reply with the good news--it's time to find someone else.  This red hot SB is really shocked & I feel like Seinfeld's George Costanza.  Yes, I'm-dropping-you.  Surprise!  lol.   --z

It's fair to say there are lots of other ways to get in trouble in this game.  I've never gone the SB route and don't think it's for me because I don't want to see anyone that frequently.  But I do have a couple of relationships that go well beyond the standard P4P and they need to be managed with care.

Why didn't you just tell her that her attachment to her phone like that bothered you? Or you could have just asked if something was bothering her if she was so furiously texting the whole day. Maybe asking her that would have hinted to her how much she'd been texting and would have cut back?

Shyguy:  I thought about mentioning it to her, but here's the thing: I'm not her father/boyfriend/BFF & I'm not going to try to 'correct' her about how she uses her cell.  And I'm not going to lecture any SB on how to be considerate of others.  If she doesn't know this by now, it's too late.  She's an adult, I'm an adult, & she should've never put me in that position in the first place.   These relationships are all NSA, whether its a provider or an SB.  Anyone who puts me in that postion is going to get dropped.  Sorry.  --z

You did get a 3-way out of it (although it sounds like a MFM)  :D

Why in the hell would you have paid her...and the car repair.

Sheesh!!  Should have sent her a text as you dropped her off for her car saying "adios muchacha"?

CPA:  It's easy to be a gentleman when things go well--the real test is when things go sour.

1) We had sex that morning, so I paid her.  A gentleman pays his debts.
2)  I promised to fix her car.  A gentleman keeps his promises.    --z

And I suppose that rather than have this hooker....err, sugarbaby...go nuts on you when you didn't pay her to text and lay there...or pay for her car, sure Z.

Respect is something that is earned...and it cannot be bought.  From your story this hooker had NO respect for you..at all.

But I get that she had enough of your personal info that it was cheaper to pay her to go away without dealing with an angry BF to beat you up...or endless calls/texts/emails from a BSC hooker in training.

If you can look in the mirror and like what you see...terrific.  But from this POV you can't see the post-it on your back that says "Kick Me..I'm Stupid".   But I can...sorry  :(

Holiday season is here and Super K-Mart usually runs specials now on backbones and balls.  Buy yourself a few gifts.  And you can thank me later!

Most SBs & providers would be upset if you fucked them & didn't pay.  Is this a common practice of yours?

I don't need validation from a 20 year old SB.  But people with low self-esteem certainly do--they also spend a lot of time writing flames on msg boards.

You're basing this opinion on what--pure conjecture or a Ouija board?

...He has to live with himself.  As you say, he has to look himself in the mirror every day.  If there is a "kick me" sign on his back, he doesn't see it.  He only sees the guy who is looking back at him every day.  That's why he did it.

the Sugar route, and he likes it until it gets complicated. At that time, he can research more sugar babies or see a provider to fill in the gaps. Again, the beauty of options. Sugar Babies don't usually abide by the same code of conduct as escorts, meaning turning the tv off, caring about being late, or avoiding the phone when you are together. They already feel it is a type of relationship with no clock running, so with that comes the freedom to be more who they are vs. worrying about what they do being offensive. There are no reviews for sugar babies so to speak since they are not hookers...long pause, LMAO!

Or better to try and show your forensic skills in trying to interpret my post?

Get your ass over to K-Mart and get those balls and backbone before they run out.

Or you'll pay some 20 yo hooker again to screw you...and not in a good way.

Glad to see you missed  LOL

Oh...and can you get some new material?  You're lame attempts at insults are well....lame!

Simply that I he can't recognize that some 20 yo hooker snookered him...and then to tell his story as if he is a good guy...he got played.

And now he's pissed at himself.

Like I told the guy, grow a pair, or buy them.  But to think he is a saint for paying this hooker, well yea I guess a sucker is born every day.

But I'll ask anyways.  Z - what exactly is it that you're trying to accomplish in Sugarland (besides the obvious)?  Why visit Sugarland instead of calling a provider?

Why can't I find guys like you, zangari?  What website do I need to be on?  I've been on the seeking arrangement website and got nothing but a lot of time wasters.  I get guys who just want free sex for nothing in return or try to treat it like a "let me pay you by the hour" situation.  Duh.  If I wanted to do that, I would just continue working as an escort.  It's upsetting, because I am really sweet to my guy friends, I look good and I actually have a brain.  And I can't find a sugar daddy or a good civvie boyfriend to save my ass.

Maybe, I should just be a bitch and act like I'm not interested and text away on my cell phone.  Why oh why are guys attracted to dysfunctional, bitchy women?  This type of story is not the first one I've heard on here about guys who get the shaft for being too nice.

Who appreciates the update. I am dipping a toe into sugarland myself namely because I prefer to see one provider repeatedly than different ones and every time I find one I really like, she goes on tour! I haven't found a match yet but your progress notes and insights are appreciated by at least this one. (FWIW, I just checked and my balls and spine are intact, I just know what I like).

Brie, I don't think we can post other websites but if you add an @yahoo.com to my handle, you can email me and I will share where I am at but you can probably guess it and yes, I think most people there use more as a dating site to find a guy with money than a true sd/sb. I just recently stopped looking because I learned my contract is being sold and I will relocate after the first of the year. I will restart once I know where I am landing.

Kelly, in regard to 'background', I provided a link to my original 'Land of the Sugar Babes' thread from last month.  I was basically tired of seeing the same set of girls on P411, so I joined an SD/SB site.

The Upside:  the top tier SBs I've seen are hotter & younger than the P411 providers in my area.

The Downside: SBs are more selective & more expensive.  Typically I'll have to take an SB out on a 'date' anywhere from 2-4 times before any action starts.  The pursuit can be fun--it's a bit of a challenge.

There's some overlap between providers & SBs.  My ATF dropped off P411 a few years back but she has a current profile on my SD/SB site.  --z

Brie, thanks for your sweet post.  You may have a sugar daddy right under your nose.  Consider your favorite client--he's your favorite for a reason, true?  He's probably not George Clooney but you enjoy your time with him.

Let him know that you'd be interested in an 'arrangement' where you spent more time with him in exchange for the security of knowing you'll see him every week (or every two weeks).  Why go looking for a Sugar Daddy when you can create one from your own client list.  Just a thought.  --z

So the best possible response in your world is to quietly tolerate and pay for a truly crappy date and then stop seeing her without saying a word? And your rationale is that this makes sense because to do anything else would have been to be too involved? What a strange world you live in.

What is the worst that could have happened if you said, "Hey, hon, could you cut back on the texting a little while we are together?" She ignores you and continues? Which is exactly what she did in any case. So what was the downside?

I guess I sort of understand why you kepy your mouth shut and paid the bill, but maybe next time you will remember that the only person you punished by doing this is you. Okay, maybe she wanted to keep seeing you and cutting it off bugged her, but I hope you do see that if that is the case, it is the strongest argument of all for telling the lady what you want because it means it is much more likely she would have done what you asked, or explained why she could not and apologized.

ShyGuy asked me the same thing, but maybe you missed my reply. I don't 'Work-Things-Out' with an SB/Provider.  We're not newlyweds going through a rocky patch.   If there's drama, I drop her.  Problem solved.

You sound like a love-struck teenager.  I didn't want to see her anymore, so I dropped her.  I can't imagine an SD/John whining when some 20 year old SB doesn't treat him right.

And I strongly disagree that a man should lash back in a mean & nasty way. A 20 year old SB is young & immature. An older man doesn't have an excuse to be immature. Ignore a slight like a gentleman, then drop her & move on. That's the best advice I can give you.  --z

LR: that's fair enough--I usually do bail when things get complicated.  I have an SO, so I'm not going to pay for more complications from an SB/provider.

Since I dumped my SB, I'm starting at zero again on the SD/SB board.  I'm glad I still have my P411 account.  As you guessed, I still see providers in between SBs.  The best sex I've had for the last several weeks was with a touring P411 provider.  For you guys who find success in Sugarland, I recommend that you keep your P411 accounts.  Sugarland can be unpredictable & you'll hit a dry spell eventually.

There is some truth in LR's parting shot that an SB = quasi-hooker.  The line between an SB and a provider can get blurry sometimes.  --z

from hobbyland, I also put up my hooker heels and go to sugarland for a few months. It is all about variety and options....and a damn break once in a while ha ha. Most sugar daddies, don't want a provider though, so you have to be careful with who you meet. They have this funny idea that the two don't cross over, and you're correct...dry spells often occur because like hobbyists, the sugar daddies are also looking for a new SB.

I think doing both is a great way to approach the business if you can get past all the bs. I have never fully quit escorting whilst having a SD, but I have cut it back to only seeing one or two guys a month. It would take at least 8k for me to totally quit, and I still doubt I could be with that same person more than 2 days a week lol. Yea, very hard for LR to be a sugar baby for the long haul ha ha.

The 20-somethings I have seen are all textaholics.  I don't even bother calling them.  I just text them when I want to see them.

As far as the annoyance factor or lack of respect...you should make it a condition that when you're with her, you need her to put away your phone.  If you don't, she won't.  Set the rules.  Don't be passive/aggressive.
