Tried to call ahead today...  an hour from home in the "Big City"...  outside the same coffee shop I use when in that area.  Repeatedly got "Check Call Restrictions 34″  Phone is charged, active & have a few hundred minutes...  works at home!  I've had TFs for nearly 10 years...  this one the last 2.    
Fortunately it didn't spoil my fun.

I have a tracfone and have never had this issue anywhere in my travels.
is your call log full? Maybe you need to clear that out?

I will try shutting the phone off...  I've also read of removing the battery briefly.  I've never had issues with TF before.
