The previous post about how many we reject well here is a classic example of I just didn't get the vibe from his e-mails.

His first e-maile to me:

Um sorry But there is more to fill out I am not calling a stranger for no reason at all

His third e-mail to me ( getting better with the filling ot of form:

Still no references and I just get a weird feeling about the e-mails:

Now just tonight I get this from him:

Your funny, what a joke you are, I send you respectful agreements, and you crap on them, I can't wait to tell everyone what a joke and phony you are., loser

And he wonders why I just got a bad feeling about him. Yeap I am a phony loser alright.

And yes men this is typical.

People always ask me why I work for an agency and not on my own. This is the exact reason. And then he had the nerve to insult you.

he sure looked good in his leather suit. I would do him, mask and all.

it's like playing cat and mouse with some of these guys. Please, guys, just give us everything upfront on the first email. It's so much easier.

Hugs,

...that is true of most businesses and not specific to this hobby.

It is not nice when idiots feel that they can anonymously abuse providers, simply because they are providers, but that is very much part of the business. Anybody who can't shrug that off is in the wrong business.

if communications were perfect, every sale would close.  If the world were perfect, everybody would be doing as I'm thinking they should.

As Catatonic says, it's life.  It's more frustrating if somebody appears to be serious then mucks about.  It's clear this guy is a moron right from the start.

of what you would have actually said to him... the idiot.  As for his last comments, anyone who reads TER and knows your rep would just ignore an ass**** like this anyway... just one man who suffers from PMS - Permanent Male Stupidity.

Sorry ladies, but you knew there would be one...

The provider who posts:
You must contact me 24-hr in advance (with no phone # or e-mail addy)
You should not discuss specific activities or price....  (sooooo hows we to know how much to bring - ESPECIALLY when there is NO menu of services and prices)
Hours - not listed - but she only works noon - 4 Tue and Thur (there actually IS one like that)
In call or outcall - not listed....

I called one local provider to set up an appointment - conversation went something like this:
ME: "Hi, this is Francois, am I speaking to Aeon?"
AEON: "Yes, what do you want?"
ME: "I would like to set up an appointment for this evening, around 7 PM"
AEON: "hummm, yea, I have an opening, where will you be?"
ME: "You don't do incall?"
AEON: "NO, I don't - so why would you even call?"
ME: "It is not posted on your web-ad"
AEON: "Well, you should know that I don't do incall, and you should not call me unless you are serious"  Hang-up.

This - from a gal who is not reviewed ANYWHERE! - oh - and her rates were unlisted as well....  sheese.... it was like "read my mind" and if you get it wrong - it is you who have the problem.

you get the picture.....  Soooo  I know that my comments do not apply to all - but you should go through the adds, pretend that you wish to set up an appointment - and voila, you will see the problems...

So, there is no one set of silliness - I have often thought that TER should provide a place to list - 1) how to post an add and 2) how to answer an ad.....

And as I have posted before - people just do not understand - follow directions, provide necessary information.... works both ways.

Sorry this was not funny, but the rude behavior associated with both hobbiests and providers at times is a bit much!

You're asking for trouble.

It the provider is unwilling to go through the trouble of listing this type of info, and they have no reviews, who needs the aggrevation?

Seriously, I, like so many of us, look at the photo, get all hot and bothered... call a lady and before you know it, fall in love, get engaged, get married, have kids, get bored at work, and fall for an ad.

Actually, sometimes I start to call without realizing that there is some piece of vital info missing - like the Phone # - then I notice that there is a "procedure" that one has to follow to get the phone #! like a cop - intent on an arrest - won't have the ability to go through the procedure... lol!  Kinda juvenile.

I am also not saying that every add misses everything.... some do - some don't - the hotter the gal in the picture - or more accurately, the more appealing the gal is to any given guy, the more likely he is to "overlook" these inconsistencies in the quality of the information provided.

Aggreavation!?   hee hee, Aggrevation is getting to the incall and instead of the hot lady... you find two big hulks who are there to "collect" the donation - THAT is aggrevation.

Good sales is good communication.   Both provider and hobbyist have miscommunicated here, and it might take only 1 to solve the problem, but neither has.

Works both ways is EXACTLY right.   Ladies, remember guys are sometimes dull, sometimes have reasons for what they do, but almost never read minds.   If ya don't don't like something, you will usually have to SAY SO.  If ya don't know or don't say what it is ya don't like, his inability to figure it out is perfectly normal, for a guy.

. . . you should make some of the fields required. His submission would've been rejected had he not fill out all the required info.

and many people don't seem to be too alert to the way others might see them, or understand why twits and assholes don't get along.

BSD notes the detailed bureaucracy of many provider forms.  Of course that creates a vibe.  It's also reasonably reasonable - we mean, what's the choice?

So somebody doesn't complete it, or just wants to evade it.   What's reasonable?  Maybe there is a reasonable reason.  Maybe not.  Either person can ignore or, just ask the question:  whazzup?  Would you please complete the form?  Or whatever.  Probably can't know unless ya take the risk of an e-mail, which of course is always your choice.

So people get ignored or miscommunicated, a common reaction is to say or believe that the person is an asshole (ie malicious behavior) or crazy (pathological behavior).

Typical male analysis is that you can't expect a person to give you a vibe unless you can say what you want - maybe more than once.  Typical female analysis is, we have more at risk, so that's your problem.  Typical Vulcan analysis would be, this ain't getting anybody anywhere - can we move along - or what?  (OK, so Vulcans are masculine - not that there is anything wrong with that.)

the Vulcan analytical pattern is typically masculine.

And much less trouble - and fucking trouble free, ahem, females is so much fun.

...good in the sack, if somewhat mechanical, but impossible to argue with.
