Hi everyone :)

As some of you may or may not know, I'm a new provider in the NYC area. I actually received my first client from this very site. I offered him an incentive for being the first to review me, as it was a bit difficult to get a client  having no reviews. I've since seen more clients, all of whom have refused to write me a review. When I questioned why, one person said that I didn't need reviews because he has friends that he would refer me to. Another simply stated that it's not his "thing" although he's reviewed other providers in the past. The sessions go extremely well, at least imo. I find this perplexing mostly because it's the entire purpose of this site. Being new, I'm trying to generate as many reviews as I can. I receive tons of inquiries but most people are questioning if I'm legit. I understand the skepticism, but it's very frustrating. Does anyone know why this might be? I used to blithely dismiss and discard those emails from Amazon asking you to rate the product and seller, without any regard for potential consumers. Now I know their pain lol :(

Some guys do and some don't.  Reasons differ, don't want to leave an electronic trail, don't want you to know their screen name, etc.  You just have to keep asking and keep giving good service.

...is that I will not post a negative review, and that I will not review a provider without their permission. These are my choices and I in no way recommend them to anyone else. If I had a satisfying time with you I would be more than willing to post a review.

As far as proving your legitimacy have you considered a better website? Or possibly getting onto P411 or Datecheck? Both of those options would expose you to a deeper pool of potential clients...my opinion anyway...

I have tried P411 but you must have I think it's 3 "ok's" from known hobbyists or something like that. Date check for some reason wouldn't allow me to create a profile the day I signed up but I never tried again honestly because it seemed kind of outdated. Thanks for the tips.

You will get more clients who are willing to write reviews if you get a decent website and join P411. Also you need to get off of that "Skip the Games" website that is not a reliable source.

Or, I suppose you could offer to bake them a cake if they will write a review.

I'm going to start by saying that I never comment or participate in board discussions, mainly because I don't have time or interest, but also because I deliberately steer clear of chatter that could easily develop into unwanted drama. However, because I was new 1 1/2years ago, and could not even get so much as a reference from other ladies, I will do my best to help you. This may be a little long, so your patience is solicited.

First, please stop asking your clients to write reviews if they are not comfortable writing them. Some clients see regulars that get upset if they write reviews for other women, some try to keep an extremely low profile, and some prefer that your intimate moments are kept private. Whatever the reason, he doesn't owe you an explanation, please just respect his rights to privacy and discretion. Second, please get out of the habit of offering discounts and specials for any reason, especially reviews. You want your reviews to be a unique representation of who you are and the services you provide, not random nonsense someone threw together because you gave them $50 off.

I agree with some of the other comments here, that you definitely need a stronger online presence beginning with your website. Your website must be professionally done in order for potential guests to take you seriously. Furthermore, enlisting in services such as p411, date-check, etc will make potentials more comfortable seeing you. My entire first year, before I began touring, I only had 2reviews. My business was always steady because I had, and still have so many regulars. But I focused on providing premier services more than reviews...there's a time and place for all of that.

If you must solicite help from your clients, I would ask one of them to vouch for you on p411 or date-check. That will help you move forward faster. If you must ask for reviews, please ensure the client is someone who first enjoys writing reviews, and has seen you enough times to feel comfortable writing about your encounter with him. Don't focus so much on what everyone else is doing, try to find your own unique contribution to the industry, and your clients will see that and come back for more. I hope this helps, good luck!

Firstly, I can't help but mention that I don't regularly offer incentives for reviews. Nor do I focus solely focus on reviews and neglect the quality of my work. I don't solicit help from my clients, I simply ask if they're interested in writing a review. How would I know if I don't ask? Your post sounds a little condescending but helpful nonetheless. It was strictly for my first time, to get started. I'm sure not to pressure anyone or make them feel uncomfortable. I just needed to clarify that. Thanks for all the tips, though.

I understand. Thank you so much for clearing that up, as this form of communication can easily be misconstrued. Regarding pressuring your clients, I know you are not doing so in the literal sense and by no means was I trying to be offensive with my choice of words. The point I was trying to get across is that your bringing it up may make them feel a sense of pressure although it's not your intent. I was just suggesting that you only bring it up when you feel you have already established a connection with a guest. Your reviews will be fewer and far between with this method, but you may find it to be more effective. :-)

I have written my last review, it isn't worth the aggravation.

Jada has mentioned some of my reservations.  I am not completely comfortable writing reviews.  The part of the review that's open to anyone are usually general statements such as, "I liked her, I'll be back"' are innocent enough.  But when asked by TER to mention the "juicy details" -- the specifics of the session, I prefer to keep private such intimate moments.  I've written 3 reviews, but it's unlikely that I'll write any more for the aforementioned reasons

Back in the day, I wrote hundreds of reviews at another venue. Every lady I'd seen knew me, and it was tons of fun flirting with them on the boards. But then, some of the ladies started getting jealous. They'd read my new reviews, and or flirts, and send me pissed off messages. "Why didn't you come see me?" "Why did you go see her?" "I don't ever want to see you again." Even though the make up sex was awesome, it became a pain in the ass, and escalated beyond messages.

When I made the switch to TER, because of all the previous jealousy, and escalation, I decided to change everything. Now I choose to not write reviews. I'll still flirt from time to time, but it's safe now. Occasionally, I write mini reviews within the forums themselves, if the topic pertains to something that happened in a session. But that's as far as I'll go. Sorry, Coco. Your counterparts sort of screwed you with their unprofessional behavior.

I wrote my one and only review recently.  Wrote it because I thought, and still think, she is an excellent provider.  No incentives, discounts, etc.
She asked for a review because she is lacking recent reviews, and I was happy to help.

Very shortly after my review was approved she started offering an incentive for anyone* writing a review.  (*Me not included.)
Now I feel like a chump for not asking for some quid pro quo in advance.

Rate increase too, and no offer to grandfather me at old rate.  I wish her success but feel like I got played.

I won't be writing any reviews any time soon

Sorry, Coco, I'm sure it's become harder in some ways to break into the business these days.

I used to write reviews if asked.  However, in 2015 alone, I've been asked by four different ladies to write special reviews.  Not just reviews - but "10/10 reviews".  Meaning if it wasn't going to be a 10/10 they'd prefer I didn't write one at all.  I've also gotten less than glowing feedback from some girls who I've given 8's and 9's to in the past, yet who I would have seen again in a heartbeat.

It's not worth the hassle any more.  And when I see providers with a string of 10/10 reviews, I take it with a grain of salt.  It's often times inflated by ass hats who buckle and give every girl a 10/10 to keep on her good side.

I don't think anything came across negatively, I have found that their are a lot of self-righteous ppl who comment on these boards.  And Jadaj is correct, you never know until you ask.  Somewhere along the lines ppl just seemed to forget that we were all new to this at one point in time.  I found out the hard way, a young lady that I saw asked me to write her a review.  She was new and had no TER profile at all, obviously I was lost and hadn't figured out the nuances of the newbie board.  So I reached out to a provider that I had seen before and asked, what I thought was a fairly simple/harmless question, how I could review her if she had no profile.  What ensued was one of the worse verbal lashings I have ever received/encountered!  Any who, I'm glad everything was handled amicably and Coco was able to get the info she needed.

And reading some reviews are worse...some look like the guy got paid of yo write it...just boring and thrown together, but with a 10/10 rating. I think a lot of guys see right through that

Awhile back I saw a provider, had a good time with her, and wrote a review that I thought was complimentary and honest.   I got a text message from her complaining that my numerical ratings of her looks and services were not high enough.   So there I am, the lady is upset and now I don't feel I can visit her again which I WOULD have done had she not gotten upset.

So now I would only review a lady who had services that were either outstanding or unsatisfactory.   I won't inflate a review to make the lady happy when the service was not exceptional.   Too bad that the lady couldn't accept that her looks services were quite good, but not 'over the top.'

First, not everyone knows about TER reviews.  I write professionally, so doing a review is really a break for me.  But sometimes I get too busy on other issues and just forget or don't get around it.  There are two things that cause me to write a review the minute I walk into the door at home: (1) a total rip off - wrong person, environment, exceptionally poor service, promises not kept after arriving, sting - where I want to warn my brothers; and (2) when the service is great but the environment is hazardous - thugs hanging around, pimps, PoPo, drugs.   If I find a girl that meets my specific needs [severe ED and a love of great bbbjtc] I will only share with close friends - want the service available when needed.  On the other hand, if the service is so fantastic for a specific need I will "tip" by writing a great report.  I've had some great rewards for doing so.  Oh, and some providers have come out and asked me not to write a review - feels it withdraws the mystery of their service.  Now I'm going to see if I can look for your first review.

You have one review and that actually should start to open the door.
Also earlier in this thread a
Provider reached out to you offering advice - do yourself a favor and PM the lady as long as she has offered to help.
I can tell that there is more than one lady I have meet that wishes she had a person to mentor her and keep her from menu mistakes
Also the longer you are in the business you will be asked for references and want to ask someone about someone/
If you have any kind of relationship it makes it easier to get quick and honest answers/
Possibly post on your local board once you are a little more established that you would like to be part of a "girls night out" or a meet and greet in your local area/
These things all make you known but come slowly.
Be careful, be safe , and be true to yourself.
Last but not least remember that there are ass hats out there that will try to coerce you with threats of bad or promise the best/ I either case you will become the loser

There are two issues why I have reviewed only 5 out of a few hundred I have seen:

1. I generally only review providers who have asked after the session is over that I write one
2. Its not generally easy to write when everyone has these awesome reviews that make them look like porn stars and your session was very pale by comparison (though very satisfying).
3. TER is not the only place I review people (I use 2 other sites) and I never cross-post my reviews.

I have also came back into the industry within the past two months and I do not have a single review. I am with you as far as the fact that my sessions have gone extremely well and I have brought up reviewing a few times to certain clients that I had a good rapport with who seems open minded and even those that said they definitely would never did and I don't want to press the issue. I'm also in the same boat because I am trying to get with p411 and date check and some of the others also you need reviews and client and other provider references for which I have none. I have probably have 40 clients at least at this point and no reviews. I have looked at some of the other advice above though and I will do what I can to switch it up a bit but I definitely feel your pain there when you have nothing to vouch for you saying that you are the legit and give a good service. Don't worry so much about it.  I had reviews on here before I knew what TER was.  It WILL happen.  Don't offer an incentive for reviews and turn down any creep who uses reviews to get you to lower your rates or do anything else you normally wouldn't.  This is an abuse of the reviews system, I won't see a guy who does this out of respect for myself, other providers and the gentlemen that use reviews while doing their homework.  I personally have never asked for a review, not one.  On occasion a gentleman has asked if I would like one and I politely say "yes" and "thank you".  There's also personal satisfaction in knowing that all your reviews were written 100% by the client's choice.

Guys talk on boards and to each other.  Reviews are great however, unless you're just bad, they aren't going to make or break your business.  Keep focusing on your business and doing a good job within your comfort zone and what you like.  You'll attract the right clients and reviews will come.

Yes reviews are awkward to write, and I'd much rather not go into the details expected...but the benefits of TER in terms of establishing credibility, ensuring safety, clarifying personal preferences, and overall helping to make this a great experience are obvious. It works because people are willing to share. Writing reviews is certainly a personal prerogative, as long as you're not at the same time using the site and others' reviews to improve your experience.  I really don't get being willing to use reviews to help find a great connection, but then be willing to write one

Every new lady wants those first few reviews to get started. As others have said, they are not the be-all-and-end-all of this business. But goddess knows they do help!

I have a great selection of fantasy reviews over several years- and I'm pleased. I encouraged a few, but the last one I encouraged was a couple, which I thought would be a good one to have to add to a diversity of experiences. I now have a couple, an extended engagement, and a few others. I'd absolutely love to have one from a woman, but as of yet that elusive unicorn has escaped me. Keeping fingers crossed. ;)

But in reality, most of the people I meet aren't the type to write reviews at all for whatever reason. My extended engagement guy whom I've seen for many years, hadn't even heard of TER before. And most of my clientele come from a place that is not TER, and most of those guys haven't heard of TER either. I tell them about it in case I think they could use the help (for instance, a few have had bad experiences or rip-offs).

Regarding a website, I'll email you some options that will be good. :)

Best of luck, beautiful lady!! You'll do great!!

Edited to add: you don't have an email addy so I can't email you. But check out Wix.com- it's free! But one day you should consider paying for a website. It's always better. And the ones that are escort-specific are not so good usually because they do weird things without telling you like locking your gallery and making guys pay for access. :(  So stay away from those if you can.

You'll be legit within a few months/few reviews, but being reviewed doesn't necessarily get easier. I think those who tour get more it seems, but lately it seems I have to bring it up if I'm interested in receiving one. Very few offers and even those who do offer don't often follow through. (shrug)

As sorta mentioned, some are afraid the good review they'll give you will blow up in their face and make you too busy/out of their reach, so sort of selfish reasons. Don't put all your eggs in the TER review basket. Good luck!

I have gotten freebies for excellent reviews on other sites. I have never posted a sham review here. Don't ask me to.

Thanks :) I don't necessarily have a "problem". I just didn't understand why so many people were reluctant to write reviews. But with everyone's helpful advice and feedback, I'm enlightened lol.

i once had, well maybe more then once.....had experiences that were not to my taste.  however it was more of my own idiosyncrasies and pickiness in my opinion then the provider.  sometimes i want to say some things, but i don't know exactly where to draw a line, whats perfectly right and wrong.  ill only write a review if i know the lady wants me to, and if she knows I'm really happy.  i basically don't want to be the reason someone has a bad review if i think it may just be the chances, and sometimes some people already wrote what i would write so i figure, mehh.....but i should partake more, i didnt realize the ladies cared so much.
