I have often compared the "locals" from my region to visitors or providers in large eastcoast cities that I have visited and found the locals generally lacking.  My conclusion is sad since my city is a generally classy US city.  It seems that NYC has the best provider selection and quality of all places that I have visited followed by Miami(if one does solid research first).  No other region of the country seems to come close to the two mentioned above, in my opinion.  What does other hobbyists who have travelled think?  Include places outside the US if those locations are your best two.

Vancouver, BC gets my vote, but I haven't ventured in too many U.S. cities.

You get a bigger bang for your buck, especially if you are an American. You also get a wide choice of GFEs. Yumiko (Asian Eye Candy), Angel, Victoria Lee and a bunch of hot other ones.

Dallas and Houston are pretty solid cities for hobbying. You should clarify your question a bit......are you talking about best providers, or best provider selection?  Some cities have a huge selection but the quality level isn't there.  quality vs. quantity.

To me Houston is the best for quality, selection and price.  There are many "Spa" girls that are young and very attractive for about $240.  That being said, the atmosphere is like a brothel and not all that much better than a $60 TJ experience.  The ladies are very nice but the atmosphere sucks.

After that, I would have to pick LA for variety but Miami may be on the same level.  If you take price into account then Miami would win as the average price in Miami is less than the average in LA.  That is why I say pwhat is your criteria.  

Although I have never visited the Carolinas, it seems that they have very many beautiful women that are a bargain compared to other areas of the country.  

As far as civilians go, I love the Southern ladies.  The way they talk and treat you is just amazing!

Birmingham, Alabama (area code 205) is interesting from a statistical point of view. Not very many ladies to choose from, but when you rank providers on performance, the lowest average score is in the high 7 range.

I'm still fairly new to this whole scene so this may or may not be the case. I'm NYC born and raised(compliments to "I am,I said"(luv that song))
and still here in NY... and maybe cause I'm looking to expand ny horizons with new and different womankind, I enjoy seeing the many visting independents and/or agency girls. I love the different cultures, roots,neighborhoods,accents,etc.,etc...I do travel on ocasion but the situations do not provide time for hobbying...so when gals I connect with, do visit, I enjoy sharing with them my NY state of Mind. Again,keep in mind, this a relatively,new scene for me.
Lately, I've been getting PM's from fellow NYC hobbyists suggesting "very good"(their words) times can be had with the locals , many of whom it seems are transplanted from other Cities around the country anyway. So my eyes are now becoming open to all kinds of fantabulous possibilities although I find the mental foreplay on these boards can not be underestimated in a potential "luv" session.

If you put in 8's or better in appearance and 8's or better in performance, LA will give you the biggest number of hits (probably due to the preponderance of Porn Stars from there).

New York probably has the best variety due to the Internationals that set up base there.  Florida though seems to have a lot of centerfold quality types (wet t shirt contests are plentiful I guess).

From purely a visual perspective it would seem NYC would be the best. There are some high end agencies that seem to employ models and perhaps actresses. Have always wondered if they were legit and whether or not the girls actually provided or not???  For instance NY Cover Girls?  If  that one agency is on the level, hell they would have more hot than some entire cities!  LA has a lot of great listings but there sure seems to be a lot of drama the past couple years.
