Well, I only see one client a day.  But I still have had moments where the last thing I could handle emotionally was a client.  And yet I had someone scheduled and couldn't back out.  Those are usually the moments when I appreciate my clients the most.  Either it's a chance to leave my worries aside, or the client himself is so lovely I'm glad I made the effort.

Simple. I avoid the problem entirely by taking no more than 2 appointments a day

When I first started providing, I had a bit of a kid in the candy store thing going on. I was living in Topeka, and would make 2-3 day trips to KC to work. My first time visiting KC, I went a little overboard with bookings. I *thought* I had booked 4 appiontments, but screwed up and booked 5. Remembering times in the past when I and whoever I was seeing at the time spent more or less an entire Saturday or Sunday boinking our brains out, I thought 4 seemed a reasonable number.

After straightening out the scheduling snafu that landed me 5 bookings instead of 4, 10 pm rolls around and its time for my last appointment. Apparently, gone were the days when I could boink non stop for hours because after 4 appointments, I was one very tired lady. I remember praying that my last gentleman friend would be of a modest size or perhaps even a bit smaller. No such luck of course. To say that he was packing an anaconda would be an understatement. Somehow though, we managed to get along just fine, I had a great time, so did he, and 4 years after I started this business, I still see him. NOT after 4 appointments though! LOL I learned my lesson. I scaled down to 3 a day for a while, then scaled back to no more than 2 which suits me fine.

I contrast my preference with a lady friend who told me that once upon a time, she averaged 8 bookings a day. Somehow, even at that number, she managed to get stellar reviews. My hat and my garters are off to her. I simply could not do it. How she was able to muster the same level of energy and enthusiasm for the last booking as she had for the first booking is beyond me. But her reviews were consistently excellent, so clearly it didn't matter whether a gent was the first or the last - she still sent them on their way with a smile.

How do you do it?

I know you try to space your appointments, etc. but as we know... life happens.

Responses can be funny, serious, inspirational, or whatever.

Just making conversation... but it's one of the things that I find amazing and appreciate about providers...

I never overbook just so that I won't be tired by the end of the day. Is it because a particular guy was difficult? That would be the only reason honestly why I would be tired at day's end.

Is it better to have a "dick to face" or a "face to dick"?

I think I'll take the latter.

I don't find her witty, nor do I consider her particularly skilled at writing.

Truth be told, I find her a complete bore, and not very believable in her "character".

Keep in mind we are talking about escort blogs here and not HL Mencken or Oscar Wilde. In that context, I think she writes very well.

      A number of ladies keep blogs but do not really have writing skills, so their output tends to be a more historical – “here is what I did today” kind of thing.  Alex really does write well, avoids clichés, coins fresh images and phrases, and always works the daily events in the life of an escort into her theme.

      In fact, given the long absence of any post from the never fully appreciated Torrid Affair, I ‘ve only noticed one other lady on this Board who writes as well as Alex, but she does not have an equal sense of humor, or, is she does, it’s not reflected in her writings.

Just my opinion, but I have found her posts here have come off as phony, unbelievable, and self serving. Of course I could be wrong. lol

especially that part about her being a "reluctant" escort. That would explain her attitude in regard to her clients.

I have to confess to having read very little of what she writes, and I will also confess to having little desire to read anymore of her writings than I already have.

Quite frankly, the woman bores me.

and regardless of the money meeting somebody new is always exciting, will there be chemistry? Will he be nice and interesting? Will he be super good in bed? Will he be dorky and adorable? But I mean during the "dick in the face" or blow jobs as I call them I am thinking about what bills I can now pay and if how much I can put into the saving pile for new car etc. I do however try to avoid putting myself in a situation where I would be unable to act over my tiredness. I love Alex she is real, and of course I don't really expect you guys to be amused by her she is kinda talking shit about you guys.

The posts may sound disingenuous, but I believe that is because of simple poetic license and exaggeration for effect.

However, while the knowledge is somewhat second-hand (i.e. a provider that I trust knows her) I am quite certain that she is really a provider.

One thing to keep in mind is that she is a *reluctant* escort. That reluctance will be reflected in the way she views the world, her clients, etc.

Ditto on Alex being a provider. Second-hand from a gal I trust as well.

The first I heard of her was on the LA board, some guy was defending her. I read a few of her blog messages and posted a damning comment on the LA board. It became quite a long thread and all of a sudden Alex posted to it. She was mad because someone said she was a fraud and liar. By this I had posted two damning comments.
I went back and reread her whole blog and all the comments. I then posted an apology for my previous post. Here what I determined:
She is bitching about some of things in her job and they spill over into her life. But still and all, she is able to laugh at the clients  and herself. She does it with humor, shock and guile. It's raw, honest and in your face. The one thing I take away from her writing is the fact that there is a little bit of girl, woman and lady in the providers I see. Thank You Alex Lieberman.

Thank god for ladies that dont.  There is no bigger turn off that the thought of the turnstile spinning.  Makes me think of a dick sucking drive thru......GAA Rooss
