I want the girl behind the door to be the girl in the pictures and that is way more likely if the photos are amateur candid shots. Modern digital cameras and even the newer smartphone cameras can take really good pics so there is no need for pro shots. as long as the pics are clear. (Not grainy, fuzzy, too dark, or too small). I like the amateur shots. It is ok to blur your face for discretion, or edit out tattoos for discretion, (but it should be stated in the website that you have tattoos so there is no surprise there). Otherwise, no photoshopping. I want what I see to be what I get. Well if you happened to have had a giant zit in the middle of your forehead when the pic was taken, and it is not going to be there when you see me, then it is ok to photoshop that out. lol. But in general the pics should look like the girl I am going to meet. that is rarely the case with edited photoshopped images.

Yes i KNOW guys are Visual.. Everyone tells me this.. Oh camilla you need to get some good photos out there because guys are visual.. But i edit my photos to clear up my face and my tattoos so that I can be discreet. I do not edit my photos to change my original shot because then I would be changing the image the guy is expecting to see..
At least, not the ones who I have spoken with. I did a mix of both pro and candid, but there is no photoshop other than running it through Picasa for a smoothing effect. I usually use a good self tanner before any pics are taken, but if I look a bit pasty, I will do the self tanner option. Taking weight, cellulite and stretch marks off is pretty stupid because it will come out in reviews. Tattoos I can see for discretionary reasons, but it should at least be mentioned in the website text that she has tats.
It makes no sense to spend thousands on a pro website just to have low end photos, so this is why most use at least pro pics on the main pages. If a girl is asking for a higher rate than usual, she needs to keep her image consistent with that rate, or she won't get it.

Your pictures are your main selling point & there are clients for every body type. Photos need not be totally explicit but taken in total, I should know before you open the door, what you'll look like naked. If I can't tell from your pictures then you've done a bad job.
Modern digital cameras & devises can take great photos, by amature photographers... and they're all but free once you buy the camera. Take lots of them & pict the best, that's fair.
Your pictures should, NO MUST, open big enough to be seen clearly. If they don't, you have failed.
It's ok to blur faces... and tatos... but just that, leave them blurry so the client will know they've been blurred for discretion. There no lie in that.
There is no excuse for poor quality pictures these days.
The client is disappointed, and it shows in his reaction. The girl who is doing this, who may already have her own insecurities and moral hangups, feels uncomfortable. And that's to say nothing about the client voicing his displeasure through a bad review, which of course just makes things worse.
And all this because a provider wanted to generate more traffic? Sounds like way too much downside and not enough upside to me.
But what do I know? That's just how I feel about the situation.
I don't mind glam shots, but other than maybe hiding tatoos for personal safety, I want to see an honest representation of the provider. I also do not like some of the grainy pics that show up on some ads, where you can't see her clearly, that sucks. If you want to hide your face, that's fine, but post pics that clearly show the rest of you.

I consider photoshopped photos to be dishonest, making something look completely different than reality. glamour or pro shots are fine and actually necessary for high end providers to command their rates. There is a difference between the two.
But photoshopping to make them look thinner, younger, more toned is not right at all. But I can see why some ladies would do it, just to get the guy in the door. Hey, if he likes you, he will probbly come back. It must work because a lot of providers do it. Many times this hobby is not about what's right, more about what works.
It easy for me to tell which pics are photoshopped and which are just glamour or professionaly taken.
Then what good is that? I could post pics of myself that are professionally done if I were in a $5k suit and with my hair meticulously cut and styled, but that wouldn't be the guy that the provider saw, you know? I realize she ain't paying me and could care less what I look like, since she cares about the donation, but if she can't replicate that look, then it's still the same outcome...disappointment.
Personally I have a mix of both pro shots and cellphone pics. For ads and main website, definitely pro shots to show professionalism. For twitter I have less formal cell phone pics.
When I go see a provider the most interesting part is when she comes out from behind the door. I'm like a kid at christmas. Probably why I do this. If she isn't even close to the pics I've got a problem. One provider saw the look on my face and said "this isn't going to work is it". Except for the creepy place and the extra 30 pounds all was well. She said her cancel fee was $100. I gave her $40 and left and felt stupid doing that. I have met a few providers that have fake pics but at least they are a close representation of the real deal. I'm ok with that but gross misrepresentation? NFW. Unfortunately I couldn't post a review because we didn't have a session.

Photoshop can be a necessary step in most professional shoots that has nothing to do with shaving off pounds or years. It is used to remove distractive shadow lines, adjust brightness and contrast or remove extraneous elements from a shot. A perfect example - I had a shoot scheduled in July. Unfortunately Mother Nature scheduled a monthly visit at the same time. Were it not for Photoshop removing the tell tale string, every picture in a very expensive shoot would look like I had a fuse sticking out my butt. I suppose I could have used the shots as is and just worked the phrase "explosive session" into the ad copy.

The photog you use should be skilled at posing you and lighting you in ways that convey the sensuality that you want us to see in you.

There is no rule that says one must have it done, so that's bs. It is an added bonus to paying a photographer to get rid of stupid shit yes, but that is a far cry from photoshopping things about your body that you want to hide. If women are going to do such things, they really need to cherry pick their guys to avoid having such things brought out in reviews, and many women are very good at that lol. If all i wanted were 9s and 10s, I would know just who to see and more importantly...who not to.

So, if a gal puts on some nice makeup, and the camera angle emphasizes her boobs, are we to be so surprised when we see her by the crummy lighting that most hotel rooms afford?
Photoshopping yourself to a D when you're a C is not going to help you in the long run, but if you can cover the crow's feet with some good lighting and makeup that is fair enough, IMHO.
them under supermarket lights, and should take our photos in that light lol. Um, yea right. It is amazing what the right angle and lighting can do, and those are not photoshopped from most ladies. Even if a woman uses NO photoshop or editing, what she looks like in a snap shot in time, is still not going to be 100 percent of what a moving, living, breathing, human being looks like. That is beyond retarded to even suggest it. Even a change of hair style or shoe, will make you look different so are some expected to wear the same damn underwear for every guy they see lol.
That's going a bit too far. I would just say that overly photoshopped to remove major flaws is not cool, and actually quite stupid. Many women think they can hide that with dim lights, etc. but unless the guy is blind or not an asshole, it will come out in reviews. I think some bank on the number of men they see who can't get any better, thus thinking they are beautiful and not mentioning their flaws. We all have flaws!!
I can only speak for myself, but I rarely, if ever, mention "flaws" in my reviews, and it has nothing to do with not being able to do any better. I just honestly don't care. A few stretch marks, or breast enhancement scars, or tatoos, or alittle cellulite are things I barely even notice. God knows I'm far from perfect, and I don't expect every gal I see to be a Victoria's Secret model either. I can still find a woman to be absolutley gorgeous with some of these things.
Now if I see a lady's ad and it says 5'8" and 120 lbs, and she opens the door and its more like 5'4" and she weighs as much as me then I'm out of there. I just want to see the same body type I see in the pics when I get there ... and the same face if its not blurred.

Yeah I just always wondered.. Because I have worked for agency before and gone onto the website to see all the photos of the girls and then i would see the girls in person at the incall and say to myself wow such a difference makeup and Photoshopping can do to make a girl look like a different person..
... looking like the girl in the pic (same/similar hair, makeup, clothing style, physical shape), they're not going to know or care if you removed a blemish, smoothed a wrinkle or whatever else you may have done.
If you can't/won't do your own make up and hair, don't have it professionally done for a shoot. If you don't normally wear a certain style (or have it available if they ask for it) for a date, don't wear it for a shoot. They booked you based on what they saw (at least, it was a major component in the choice) so just make sure you deliver the same 'product'!
As much of a PITA it can be at times, I do the same 2hr shower-to-ready routine for each and every gent I see. Why? Aside from that's simply one of my quirks... it's because that's how my pics were taken and that's what they expect to see.
