Warning Ladies: "Free Phone Sex Scam"

Warning Ladies...Free Phone Sex Scam (I give him 10 points for "inventivem=ness")

Hey ladies,

Any one else get a "weird" phone call similar to this?

On tuesday (6/24) I get this call from some guy who says he got my name from a "drawing" at the Stratosphere Hotel. (I've never been to the Stratosphere) but apparently some other provider put my name is this drawing.

He tells me that he's with Hustler magazine and they're doing a fourth of july issue about providers and I was one of the three hundred ladies their interviewing. He says that HUSTLER is buying the Stratosphere, that was his reason for whatever drawing happened at the Stratosphere.

He offers me $1,500 for my interview via "cashiers check" drawn off of Wells Fargo Bank that will be Fed Ex'd the next day.

I'M SCEPTICAL BY NATURE, so I tell him I'm flattered but "NO THANKS".

He sweetens the pot with a $200 Gift Certificate to Planet Hollywood for my trouble. I say yes.

Now, I "truly" was thinking "this guy is full of *&^%$#@" but I start answering his questions anyway, against my better judgement.

His questions start out pretty "tame" (e.g: How tall are you, how much do you weigh?) and they Of course get more graphic as we go along, and I answer (not necessarily being truthful to each question). He had "interview categories" I could choose from and everything.

So 3 to 5 minutes into the conversation he hangs up! And I think to myself...I KNEW HE WAS &$#@!$-ing OFF! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!

Any one else get a call like this?

God is in the details and this guy had his scam down pat. He sounded professional, didnt hesitate when I asked him questions and had an answer for everything. He used names I'd recognize (Hustler Magazine, Stratosphere, Wells Fargo Bank, Planet Hollywood)...ladies,...HE WAS SMOOTH! LOL!

This is clearly a scam to get free phone sex. If you want to know the name he used for this inventive little scam email me. [email protected]

ps. No, I wasnt stupid enough to give him any "REAL" Information. Free phone sex is not cool, I dont want this to happen to other ladies. Hang up on this weirdo.

pss. He called from a restricted phone number that I was unable to redail (Techies, can you tell us how he managed that?) and said that the only number I could call HIM back on was a 900 number that cost $4.99 per minute....Geesh!
