DOVER, Del. -- An elementary school teacher accused of having sex with a 13-year-old student has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault, authorities said.
Rachel Holt, 34, allegedly had sex with the boy 28 times during the last week of March, and on at least one occasion allowed the boy's 12-year-old friend to watch. She also plied the two youngsters with alcohol, according to New Castle County Police.

It's probably wrong to think we know what's going on from a picture and a paragraph. Personally, I'm often dubious how much a person is manipulated in a sexual situation, and if so, is that attributable to age, position, or what?
Here, it's very easy to think, both might be getting theirs.
But we are not going to think about it all that much, because it's much more fun to be manipulated by the (3 years older) civvie GF, because she likes to make out. These things may not be any harder than we want to make them...

And since you are all so happy to talk about what a "dog" this woman is and show so much of that hobbyist sensitivity that was spoken of a few threads down in comparison to civvie men, anyone care to guess how much the boy resembles Brad Pitt?
And does anyone have anything to say about the kid, other than how much of a stud he is? If he isn't "in love" (in a 13-year old's mind), do you think he could use a little guidance, perhaps? WTF did his parents think he was doing 28 times in one week?

Yes, it's an unfortunate double standard. If the teacher was male and the student female (or male!), no one would think the student was anything but a victim.

I really had a crush on a few teachers and I think I would probably been better off if they did bed me when I was in my teens because getting laid was the biggest obsession in my life and I never did get laid until I was 22. I think the lack stunted my emotional growth.
I would like to hear from any women out there who did have sex with a teacher (not a sexual assault situation, but consentual) and whether they felt it was good/bad or some mix.
Also, did any of you guys find yourself in this situation with a teacher? Again, good/bad/?
BTW, maybe that's just a bad photo, she could look cute with the right hair style.

Actually, I did have a brief affair with my English teacher the summer after my senior year in high school. I had been in her class the whole year previously and never really gave her a thought most of the time because I had a girl friend I was madly in love with and Miss J. was relatively old (32 at the time).
Anyway, my girl friend and I broke up at the beginning of summer and I just happened to run into Miss J. a couple of day later at a sporting goods store where she was buying a treadmill. I offered to help her set it up so I followed her back to her place. One thing led to another and we ended up being lovers for about two months. I was 17 at the time and have to say that that relationship really helped my social development. She taught me table & conversational manners, how to dress a little better and, as a result, I was much more confident with women. The only downside was that she introduced me to the chronic which I didn't stop doing for 7/8 years and I had an older woman fixation for awhile.
But all in all, the pluses outweighed the negatives. However, there's a world of difference between a 17 yr old ready for college and a 13 yr old so the two situations aren't comparible.

I got to bang the girl's phys ed & health teacher afew times during my junior & senior years. She was in her mid-30's at the time, really good looking, & it was kind of underground common knowledge that she had been having sex with male students for years - never on school property or during school hours or activities, though. I don't believe it ever traumatized any of us guys. Getting to have sex with her was more like being inducted into a special elite fraternity.
Feeling that you're in a special fraternity at that age might be harmful in itself.
I am actually of two minds about the harm it does, or what effect it has on males as opposed to females. A teacher shouldn't be selecting a guy for higher status based on her sexual attraction to him. This would spill over into the awarding of grades. If it's known underground, what effect does it have for guys who aren't "rewarded."
Not only that, more than a few guys would not be comfortable in a special elite fraternity.
It's good that she personally gave you a boost at the time, but no, the implications are generally bad.
