Recent local strip club experience

I posted this on my local NY board.  Would like to get some feedback from the general population:

Last week I went to a Bronx strip club during my lunch break.  It's a place where the dancers are completely nude, which I understand is legal as long as alcohol is not served.  There is a 2-soft-drink minimum, and they also serve food.    
One of the dancers was a fortyish Latina, not too pretty in the face, but with an incredible body.  Big firm pretty natural boobs and a spectacular round latin booty.  We went to the lap dance area, and for the price of 3 lap dances ($60), she reached under my shorts to give me a hand job while encouraging me to touch her tits and pussy.  I asked her how much she would charge to see me outside the club. She responded that she was not a prostitute, but if I came back to the club again, she would give me her phone number and we could hang out and get to know each other.  
Does this seem odd?  Thoughts?

and she might very well be open for some pay for play, but is understandably reluctant to come right out and open herself up to a solicitation charge.

There is no guarantee that you will end up getting into her pants if you were to "hang out and get to know each other", but I wouldn't bet against it either.

There are no "sure things" in a strip club like their is here on TER from a "well reviewed escort", but LOT's of strippers are open to the idea, although usually if you do a cost/benefit analysis, you usually come out a lot better right here on TER. That said, if you like her, go for it.

Odd? Not at all...

....it's very common for dancers to give out their phone numbers to customers in the hope that they will come back to the club to spend more money on them. Many strippers have their own burner phones just for customers. Ever heard the term "stripper shit"? That's what she is doing when she says that she'll meet you OTC. Odds are she has no intention of doing so. Oh it does happen...but not very often.

Assuming you are at a "don't touch the girls" type of strip club, then just slip a finger up a stripper's twat, and get ready for the bar fight to start when she directs the bouncer(s) to throw your ass out.  Usually ends when the sirens are heard outside, and the boys with the nightsticks start cuffing guys.  

Not that I myself was ever part of a scene like this, but I have seen the aftermath.  Not pretty

Nah that's pretty normal.

The only thing you don't know is whether she really wants to "hang out" and get to know each other (it is a small possibility and it does happen) or if she is just trying to get you to keep coming back to the club and spending money. (More likely and standard stripper behavior)
