She was just commenting on the content of a television show that featured a fictional look into the "hobby."

I know I'm new and all....but why is this alias thing enabled. Considering the site is well guarded and well moderated, what exactly is the purpose of such a loophole?

I got turned off to scasp big time when I saw their forum is like a 1990's AOL chatroom... Hmmm.

STACIE - Excuse idiots, have a lovely evening/weekend!

no fucking harm meant, No-Way, you take yourself waaaaay too seriously. get over it !!

as Dickus said, a fictional drama with a hobby related theme.  Just was curious if anyone was watching something that once again shed a very misleading & negative light on the whole escort business.

Recent media coverage & television seem to have had a very negative impact, something I felt was somewhat relevant for discussion......

Rightfully so .
Last I checked this was a "general" discussion board ...?
So where ever they get the that idea name calling is acceptable is beyond me & rude. :)

I wonder how much Connie would ask for if she was a provider? I know I'd pay top dollar for an hour with her

she is SMOKIN' hot

This IS where the off-topic stuff belongs. You just invested more of your precious time complaining about it than you probably did reading it...

Stacie 7---No Way 0. No, make that 8-0 if you count me. Who's the jackass?

But tonights "ripped from the headlines" story was like many in the past: Sensationalized and written to attract viewers, not tell the true story.

It's always a bit annoying when we, as "insiders" watch or read what the media's version of our hobby is.  I dare say there are probably plenty of script writers, news reporters and television and movie producers who have seen escorts once or twice or even regularly. Will any of them aver get it right? I sincerely doubt it and I'm OK with that. In my mind the less the hobby gets talked about publicly the better.

I wish I'd seen the show.  But I imagine I'll have the chance to catch it ad infinitum on USA, TNT or TBS.

Not having seen the show, I have to guess about the errors and sensationalism you mentioned.  There's a lot about our community that's exciting, but you're right about the truth not playing well in TV's quest for ratings (at least not the aspects that can be broadcast on network TV).  Take out the non-broadcastable (is that even a word?) parts and what's left can be pretty mundane.

Maybe that a**hole that jumped down STACIE's throat can offer a suggestion.  I'm sure his input will be carefully considered, well thought out and insightful.
